I saw this topic on the Kristin Chenoweth forum and thought it would be cool to start here..
Is anyones room Broadway/Wicked decorated? Post about your rooms here!
My room is extremely Wickedized and Broadwayish lol..
Wicked=I have this huge frame thing which includes the program, the playbill, the pictures that i got signed/personalized in the mail from Kristin and Idina, pictures of me with Kristin and a few other cast members, pictures OF Idina and Kristin, AND the streamers things that come out in the beginning of the show taped to the frame [haha i took some home!] I also have every article from any newspaper/magazine that is related to Wicked on my wall...
and my mom a while ago took a bunch of my playbills and with the same font and exactly how it is written on the playbill she decorated my walls with black paint/sharpy [its hard to explain i should take a picture]...she just added Wicked too it...i have shows such as Phantom, Sound of Music, Aida, Gypsy, Rent, Les Miz, The Wizard of Oz on it
Also, on my door I have every ticket from every Broadway show I've seen...and I have this acting face mirror thing..and I have the glove that was thrown off of Gypsy Rose Lee/Louise from Gypsy signed by Bernadette Peters on it too..
i guess you could say my room is a little TOO broadway oriented..llam broadway=love

Such an awesome idea to decorate Wicked/Broadway style! My roommate and I love Broadway so for the coming school year, we have plans to decorate most of the walls with Broadway stuff. I have some Tony articles I may put on construction paper and I'm thinking of putting my playbills on a memo board. I'm looking forward to it!

I currently share a room with my little brother... so unfortunately I can't Wickedize my room...
BUT! We have a fireplace, but its never used because there isn't glass in front of it so the house would catch on fire if we used it. So we have this mantel above our fireplace and my family will display stuff - we have miniature manger scene sets for Christmas, and our Easter decorations go there, and sometimes we display my Peter Pan things, stuff like that...
Sooooo the 18th I set up a Wicked display on our mantel, featuring our autographed souvenier program, a Playbill, the CD case (the actual CD is in my player... hehe), Barbie as Glinda, Ken as the Scarecrow, an old Tin Man doll, a Tin Man miniature, a Scarecrow figure, a Glinda figure, a melting-Elphie magnet, the WoO movie, miniature Oz set, the Continental magazine, a WoO book, a WWW tin, a smaller Glinda figure, a broom made of Legos, and Elphaba's head from the poster made from Legos. It's pretty cool.

I used to have a MUCH larger Broadway theme in my room back during Junior High School. I too had designed fake playbill covers of various shows (when I took them all down at the start of high school, there were over 50 of them!!  ). Now Broadway time-shares with the Beatles, but there's still a LOT of theater stuff here. First, on my door is a FABULOUS mirrored hanging of the faces of comedy and tragedy. I also have my Wicked poster up, of course, as well as my ticket stubs from each performance. I have my souvenier brochure and four playbills hanging out in a display drawer... and, even my computer's desktop (comp is in my room) has an Elphaba/Fiyero theme. As for my college dorm, I'm moving in to a new room this next fall, but there are definately Broadway plans on that front. For this past school year in my Freshman room I had my Wicked poster up as well as my Wicked ticket stubs and Wicked playbills. Those will definately be coming in to the new room! |

let see...my door is decorated entirely with wicked stuff. everything ranging from my chenomail, to the lyrics to popular..random quotes...pictures...a "you are now entering emerald city" thingy..etc
then u get in my actual room and theres a license plate that says "WICKED WITCH" and then i have the wicked poster hanging on my wall, my 4 pics with kristin hanging...my pic with norbert...my pic with eden..and i guess thats it. i really want to just redo my entire room but thats not happening

Yah my room has Wicked stuff in it too....lol....i love everyones banners and such on this site ;D my Krisin signature has a good place on the wall near my dressing table! hehe!

Since we don't have Broadway where I live, the next best thing is the Stratford Festival, and my room is a total Stratford/Wicked/impressionist painting hybrid. I have six Stratford posters and every ticket to every show- Broadway, community theatre, anything that's a musical- I've been to is on the wall as a border to one of the posters. I have all my Stratford playbills displayed on the wall and a Stratford collage. Then there's my Wicked collage made out of magazine articles and my playbill, and my Wicked poster with the sigs of the three witches.  |

Ha. We don't have Broadway here either of course  so yeah, I pretty much go to community theatre, tours and such too...not the same as Bway but i may there one day lol, a friend collected playbills once for me when they toured over there near her, i think she got me a Wicked one ill add that to my collection ;D |

My room is totally Wickedafied! One day I got sooo bored so I printed out every Elphaba/Galinda picture that I could find and pasted it on my closet door, llam! And when the NY Times had a full page ad for Wicked and it's Tony noms I cut that out and put on my closet too. Also I have sooo many Wicked playbills that used to be hanging in my room but they kept falling down so now they're just in a pile on my dresser lol. But my favorite playbill, the one signed by Idina, Kristin, Norbert, Michelle, and Sean Mcourt is still hanging up. I also have my Rent and my Hairspray playbills on display and my huge Wicked poster signed by Dee and Cheno, also all my Broadway tickets and a picture of me and Idina. Oh yeah, and I cut out the picture of Idina and Kristin from when she was featured in Vogue, cuz they look sooo pretty.

hum...lets see my room is a combo of photographs/hot guys/wicked/idina/bernadette peters (wow what a combo!) the front of my door has a huge picture of clay aiken (huge fan right here), the picture from the issue of "vaniety fair" that kristin and idina were in (nothing that big, its a two page picture of broadway stars on broadway now and kristin and idina are in it. i starred then lol), and some pictures i got from my work. the wall where my bed is are pictures of all hot guys/guys that im in love with. namely kyan from "queer eye" and various pictures of the fab 5. also matthew perry and other people. in between my windows in a bulliton board dedicated COMPLETELY to bernadette peters and idina. half is bernadette and the other half is idina, and there is no room on it for anything else. on the bernadette side is all the ticket stubs from shows that ive only seen her in (there are about 6), and then on idinas side there are the rest of my ticket stubs from ANY show ive seen, not just broadway. and on my mirror i have pictures of my friends, and then a really pretty picture of idina and one of cheno because i read that itll make you feel better about yourself if you put up pictures of people you think are beautiful or something...whatever i like it  haha wow that was long lol |

My room is done entirely in Wizard of Oz, I know that no suprise, LOL. Of course it's not just the Wizard of Oz, it's all different forms of Oz, Wicked included. I have posters, pictures, autographs, & some hanging collectables covering the walls & than a bunch of other Oz collectables sitting around & than my huge Oz display case, all & all, I have approximately 500 Oz Items.

My room is really New York/Broadway...I have maps of the NYC Subway and Central Park on my walls, and my Aida bag that they put all my stuff in pinned to my wall, and the little pyramids that the t-shirts at Aida came in are little lanterns that hang from my ceiling, and I have my signed picture from Cheno and Stephanie D'Abruzzo on my bulletin board, where I also have the tickets from all the Broadway shows I've seen. And I have a framed picture of Times Square that shows the Wicked poster and the Hairspray poster and the picture over the Palace Theatre with Toni Braxton as Aida. I need more Broadway posters, though.

My color scheme for the past three years has been pink and green. convenient I say my wall has 7 broadway posters 2 Aida Wicked Phantom (signed by recent cast) Bombay Dreams Man of La Mancha Mamma Mia! i also have a bag filled with every playbill and bags from the shows.. my ticket stubs are in my message board ribbon thing my aida pyramid boxes are hanging on my wall this is what my bed looks like..(take away a few pillows)  |

Well i am moving my room to a bigger room and i am going to repaint it but not sure what to. i am either going to do 2walls green and 2 walls pink or make it look like Kristin's dressing room any suggestions on which one i should do? anyway once i move i am going to frame my poster with KC and Idina's autograph and hang it up put my playpill somewhere special and just other wicked stuff.
