LOL these lines are great I had that stupid punch phrase stuck in my head all morning! Nessa: What's in the punch? Boq: Lemons and melons and pears. Nessa: Oh my!

That line comes so fast, Monica, that I almost missed it at first.

They gave the punch lines to Nessa and Boq? Yay! I think I'll like them there even more. Anyway, thought of another line:
Madame Morrible (about Elphaba): I'm sure you're extremely bright. Nessarose: Bright? She's phosphorescent!

it's not one of my favorites but Carole Shelley terrifies me when she says "This Wicked Witch."
And it's not so much a line, but Idina's "Fiyero" during NGD really blows me away. I grabbed my best friends hand during it and was like "Here it comes," and she was just floored. She had heard the cd, but the seeing Idina rock the Gershwin is just so much better.

I've heard that Idina is incredible live but I didn't really believe it until hearing the difference in the tracks on the CD versus the live ones. She sounds like she's half-asleep on the CD!

She had to tone it down cause she was singing into a mic and not out to nearly 2000 people. Didn't want to deafen the sound techs! Although if you were going to be deafened, what a great way to go.

Well then...perfect solution:
Take a step *away* from the mic. *shrug* I'd love to capture that "Fiyeroooooooo!" from the show, but I don't think it's ever going to happen in any studio. I guess it was the whole coming out of the floor thing that pushes you like that... -gyps
