I know it's not a line, but I would have been really happy if they had encorporated that little tune MGM plays during WoO each time Elphie shows up in the film, or riding her bike like one intimidating badassmothafucka... Once, just once, should they have played it in the show. It could have been the part when Dorothy's crying and Elphie telling her to take off the damn shoes. Or after she turns Boq into a *clank-clank* tin can that would make a nice beehive, when she runs away. I was so dissapointed that they didn't. -gyps

They spent $14 million on the entire show! What's paying a bit more royalties to these big broadway bigshots anyways? *grumblegrumble* -gyps

With the amount of money they poured into it, if it flopped it wouldda rivaled Dance of the Vampires for the amount of money it lost.
Good thing is didn't though!

Meh who cares about the reviews? Lots of stuff had crappy reviews and became hits, like Phantom! Just goes to show you that critics don't really influence audiences as much as the media thinks they do- word of mouth is still more credible than some newspaper reporter

I was speaking in hypotheticals. About the floppiness of it all. There's definitely "a celebration throughout Oz" about the show.

My gay boy friend was BAWLING at the end of " Defying Gravity"...BAWLING!!! Hey, I don't blame him, I was too. My mom is usually the one who cries at everything so when the curtain went down and the lights came on and she saw me, I didn't hear the end of it for days

Morrible: "He didn't mention you. A slight gulch." I laughed at this line. I will admit it. I kept waiting for someone to call Elphie Elmira as a mistake or something... What part was the gulch line from? I don't remember that one..

What part was the gulch line from? I don't remember that one.. Elphaba: Madame Morrible, we have not recieved our room assignment. Morrible: Oh, the governor made his concern about your sister's well-being quite apparent, so I thought it best she share my compartment, where I can assist her as needed. Elphaba: Oh, but I've always looked after my sister. Nessa: Elphaba...shh! Morrible: He didn't mention you. A slight gulch. Not to fret, not to fret. We'll find some place to put you.
