haven't seen the new one yet but want to. I am not a huge fan of star wars really but they are enjoyable films to watch

You should definitly see it. I'm not a HUGEHUGE like obsessive fan, but I do really love watching them just the same.

I saw it today...I laughed all through those love scenes (what was the writer thinking?) and the acting was...stiff. But the visual effect were flawless.

lol, I know what you mean. I have to admit to laughing through most of them as well. But I don't think everyone's acting was stiff. Natalie Portman's was a bit, but I know she would be able to do much better with a more intresting script. I agree though that the visual affects were awesome

I loved Yoda in this movie. Hilarious. I actually got to see the movie with a whole bunch of fans (rare for me since I usually see movies when there is hardly anyone in the theater) so the reactions to Yoda's fights and successes were great. Big cheers! And laughter for the droids.

George Lucas isn't known for compelling romance...but Yoda rocks.
Also, I have to say, I just got back from seeing the movie for the second time, and it was almost a totally different experience. I didn't even feel the need to squeal when Vader took his first breath. Plus, my sister (who partly just wanted to see Hayden) was practically MST-ing it afterward. Ah well.

Yoda was awesome! I mean, how many green/creature Jedis do you know who can rock in a lightsaber fight! And he's short too!
Imperfectly and I saw it together, being that we're sisters, and during the "love" scenes we turned to each other and pretended to barf!
Anakin: I love you, Padame.
Padame: No, I love you!
They proceed to kiss. Yuck!

"So love has blinded you?!" ?!?!?!?! Where'd she get that from, I mean I honestly don't know how 'love has blinded him'. . Another one I had to refrain from laughing at was "Hold me like you did on Naboo when there was nothign but our love". uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh! |

How about dashing across a lava-covered planet while nine months pregnant with twins? Poor Padme. She was such a great character. And the thing is, she didn't even look 9 months pregnant with twins. She might have looked 9 months with one baby, but I know she wasn't big enough because my mother had twins (ie me and my sis) and she knows how big your tummy can get. |
