I have a bunch of movie files on my computer that I would love to watch, but many of them are .rm and .ram files-- and my Mac, with QuickTime and Windows Media Player, can't read them. I can't seem to get RealPlayer So, my question is, does anyone have the means to convert such files into those my computer can read or is there a way I can do it myself?

Isn't there a way to download RealPlayer? I'm not too great with computers myself...

Yes, but that requires money, so I'd just as soon temporarily abduct a friend's non-Mac computer for a bit.

xrl.us/fsp6Free Realplayer. You have to hunt for it. But, if it won't download... mac.softpedia.com/get/Utilities/Screen-Movie-Recorder.shtmlTook quite a bit of hunting, but it's a free download (may only be a trial though...). It will record anything that happens on your Mac if you want it to, and converts them to Quicktime. I hope this helps. I'm also happy to know there's another mac user on the boards. I also use them, always have. Way superior to Windows, if you ask me.
