Norbert's Last Performance!

I'm so sad that Norby's leaving! It just won't be the same w/o him! (Not that I'll probably ever get to see it again. I've seen it four or five times and my parents have had enough!) What's with the stupid pop people taking over broadway? There's like six of them going into (or are in) shows all over the place! It's like: Hey I didn't make it pop-wise; let's take over Broadway! I do have good news about Norbert though--he's moving to bigger and better things. And I know that for a fact.

Well, playing devil's advocate here... bringing in a pop star DOES translate to one thing, (theoretically, at least): box office. If they don't know the show, they'll come for the name.

I guess in the long run I'll tolerate Joey McIntyre taking over for Norbert if it keeps Wicked running. I don't want Wicked to be one of those shows that lasts maybe two years and then fizzles out when all the original cast members leave.
