If you haven't seen Kevin Hill (starring Taye Diggs), start tuning in. It's not revolutionary, but it's rather good, and Taye's awesome, as is the rest of the cast.
Anyway, it would appear (based on a comment on her website) that Idina's going to have a couple of guest appearances on the show soon-ish. Does anyone know when they'll be airing, who her character will be, or whether the show's being renewed for next season?

I love Kevin Hill. The only thing I know about Dee, though, is that she's just finished shooting a two-episode arc; it may be for this season, but it may be for next...I do believe it was resigned; I think it's one of the better shows on UPN, so it really should be resigned.

Idina is going to be on Kevin Hill starting May 11 and I think she will be on another episode a week or two later.

Sweet! I've spent half the episode I've watched muttering that Kevin shouldn't be with some random supermodel/engaged control freak/etc. because there's a really awesome chanteuse who'd be so much better for him. Any word on who/what she'll be playing?

So, did anyone besides me watch tonight's episode (11 May 2005)? 'Twas pretty good. I've really grown to love watching Taye Diggs-- it's hard to separate him from Kevin, which is a good thing. I can't wait to see the man as Benny in the Rent movie (11/11, yo!). As for Idina, her part wasn't huge, but it was enough to make me  . She's playing Francine, an attorney friend of Kevin's not-formally adoptive daughter's birth mother and the woman's husband (if that makes any sense), but she apparently knows Kevin from a previous relationship (?). She was only in two or three scenes but had great chemistry with Taye, naturally! Anyway, well done on all fronts, and next week's season finale looks exciting, so watch it  |

I just heard they're canceling this show! Any concrete word on that?
In the meantime, catch the Kevin Hill season (hopefully not series) finale on Wednesday night, 9pm on UPN, with guest star Idina Menzel!

I haven't heard that; I hope they don't, it's the only show I watch.
I saw last week's episode, and I can't wait for tomorrow's! The scene in the church with Idina and Taye amused me greatly.

After tonight's show...
Damn, Idina was a heck of a lot nicer when she was painted bright green. Not to mention when she was making her closing argument, it was the complete antithesis of Maureen Johnson (her character in Rent)...very versatile, she is.
Ooh, they'd better be renewing this series!

She was amazing. I was ready to strangle her, and since she's my idol, that's saying something..
I do have to admit that I cried. Like, I was doing really, really good, and then George started crying and then I did. Hehe. I'm such a girl.
If they do not renew, I will be one very unhappy girl.

Yeah...I was ready to cry, except I don't cry very easily and I was exercising at the same time. I was getting all worked up when she was talking about nuclear families and alternative lifestyles being bad and all, though. I was all, "Dude, where's the Maureen Johnson to bust out when you need her?" And they have to renew it so that Kevin can get Sarah back and end up with Terry, because I really like her. I wish they'd stuck Idina with a character that could end up with Kevin, though... |
