I haven't seen Brooklyn or Eden, and frankly don't have a lot of interest in the show, but I'm wondering...as you seem to like it, could you (or anyone else) supply me with a more comprehensive synopsis of the musical than the nebulous one on the website?

Its about a girl named Brooklyn (Eden) who comes to America from Paris to find her dad and along the way becomes a huge star only to anger falling diva Paradice (the amazing Ramona Keller) and she changelles Brooklyn to an American Idol like singing competion and Brooklyn continues to look for her father only to find out "once upon a time" isnt always so right.

I'm not clumsydude15 but I think they mean: that even though great things happen, they all have their 'dark' sides. It's a really great show. It's kind of RENT gone soul music, gone bklyn... I think that if you like RENT you'll like this...  |
