Anyone else LOOOVE these books? I want to see the movie, but I'm also a bit hesitant because of my love for the characters and the books. But I have faith in Amber Tamblyn, at least, in not messing up my favorite character of Tibby, since I think Amber is an amazing actress. Though all my friends think I'm a cross of Tibby and Lena, I really can't stand Lena in some scenes...Anyways, share the love!

Omgosh I adore them! Some of the best books ever. But on the contray, I really love Lena. Carmen is the one who sometimes just gets on my nerves. I can't wait to go see it with DE!

OMUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LUV these books! My fav characters are...well, just about all of them, but I really like Bridget becauseshe plays soccer, and Lena because she's greek. I have read all three of the books, and I am getting my friends into them. I know that Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara (I Luv her name!), and Amber Tamblyn will all do a really good job, but I'm not sure about the other one. I've never seen her in anything before. But, I am SO EXCITED for the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I actually love Lena too (well, I love them all) but according to every quiz I've taken I AM Lena so that may be why I'm not the biggest fan of her, because I'm so like her. I still cannot WAIT for the movei

It's sort of funny, three of my closest friends and I really are almost exactly like the characters. I'm Lena, one of my friends is Tibby, another is Carmen (though not as annoying and mean), and the other Bridget (though not as boy crazy. MOre like a toned down Bridget). I just think its so cool, and we plan to form a bit of our own sisterhood. I LOVE these books!

But, I am SO EXCITED for the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D That's because the girl playing Bridget, Blake Lively, is a regular teenager; she's never been in any other movie, and I believe she went back to finish her school year after shooting was over. My friend wants me to go see it with her tomorrow, but I want to go with all four of us. One of my best friends figured out a chart for us: She was Lena (I have to disagree somewhat), my cousin was Carmen (I'd say she was more the Lena-type), I was Tibby (quite agreed), and my other best friend Steph was Bridget (also quite agreed). |

Except I sooo wish I was Tibby, but I am rereading the books, and must agree that I am a Lena (w/out a Kostos kinda bf  )But I was talking to another friend who was saying that Lena is her favorite character, and Bridget her second, so maybe Lena is an okay character...I don't know I guess in books an dmovies and everythign I seem to like the character I wish I could be like |

I LOVE these books and cannot wait for the movie! But I agree with GoodWitchGlinda, about being hesistant to see it. I'll never be able to see the characters the same way again. Oh well, I can't wait to see what they've done to book to transfer to a movie!  |

Yeah, but I have to say Bridget and Tibby are like EXACTLY how I pictured them. Lena is sort of, but Carmen is just WAY out there. No offence to America, she's really pretty, but Carmen was supposed to be curvy, and in the movie she is a little more, and it is emphasized a lot

The movie is out! However, the girl who plays Bailey looks about 10, although she IS supposed to look young, so I guess that that is okay. I might see it this weekend. I am still SO excited!!! ;D

I'm seeing it saturday for my bday party (well, a very early bday party as I will be out of town nearer to my bday). I think the person playing Bailey looks great. the whole time I read the book I had a pic of Dakota Fannign in my mind for Bailey, who was much younger at the time, so the girl now is much older than that..lol, sorry for the random fact

Two of my best friends went to go see it first showing yesterday, and they loved it, though there were some things that were changed from the books, but it's to be expected when something is transferred from book to movie or book to play...or, in some cases, book to book (yeah, because that made sense...meh, made sense in my mind).
I think I'm seeing it tomorrow night; I was told I was, but I have no idea how I'm getting to the movie theater; none of my friends go to the theater I live near. Meh.

i know! I was very confused by kostAS because, what the HECK was wrong with KostOS?! Now it sounds girly. And Effie is a cute character. But nothing is worse than their casting for Brian. Ever seen the Perfect Score? Awful movie imo, but the chinese stoner guy is Brian. Brian is one of my favorite characters, so this got me REALLYREALLY mad, because that is not at ALL like I pictured him
