I personally would definitly recommend reading the books before seeing teh movie, even if u have to wait for teh movie on DVD. Not only are the books better (not saying the movie is bad tho) but they also just give you a much more detailed and correct version. Seeing the movie is just better after having read teh books imo

I didnt read the books but saw the movie last night. It was GREAT! I cried 3 times..... ;D

Hmmm...I saw the movie today, and while I think it was very good I have to say that it can't compare with the books. The books had a lot more, uh, clarity is what I'm looking for. It was kind of funny, because when Tibby's address appeared on screen as "Bethesda, Maryland," one person started clapping. I guess they were from Bethesda...anyone know where that is?

Part of Maryland, near DC...I think it's near Chevy Chase...I don't remember, but I did see a sign for it.
