LitP has a terrific score. I totally agreed with it winning Best Orchestrations and Best Score (I think it won score). In fact, the OBC gives me the impression that Kelli O'Hera should have won Best Featured Actress, and I do agree with the win for Clark (I think she does a terrific job, at least vocally and from the Tony preformance), even though I was kind of rooting for Sutton or Sherie just because I love them.

I have to agree that Spamalot is stupid, but that's what makes it funny. There are some jokes in it that I absolutely hate but little boys and men who refuse to grow up would love, but we need something that is "silly", as the cast describes the show. (I've heard that Spamalot is one of the shows that you will see a line at the men's bathroom and not the women's.) I'm guessing that there were lots of men among the Tony voters.

and Spamalot... was ok. I didn't see why so many think it's so great. The song they chose wasn't really a good showcase of the silliness, I think, but they needed a song that featured the cast. There are much better songs they could have shown (like Knights of the Round Table from the movie or The Song That Goes Like This, which makes fun of musical love songs). There are some very humerous things in Spamalot, from what I've heard, even if you don't like the Monty Python jokes. They make fun of Broadway, too. It actually was a little surprising that they won without getting best music or best book, but I was rooting for them anyway.

I got to see Idina's webcast, and all of the performances! Go Norbert! ;D I did think that DRS should've won best musical, but I also like Monty Python, so that was okay. However, I was brutally forced to go to bed at 10:45, so I missed all of the good awards. But the next morning, I tore apart the paper and was so thrilled to see the results!

10:45?! They ended at 11! Your parents wouldn't let you stay up 15 more minutes?

I know... Sunday was my last day of Hebrew School, so I guess that they wanted me to get a good night's rest. Oh well.

Haha, the night before my graduation from Hebrew/Sunday school, I went to Prom and then repeatedly fell asleep during the formalities the next morning. But my hair looked great!

Yeah, I think our parents thought it ended at 12:00 or something...anyway, saw all of the musical numbers, but missed Norbert.
