Has anyone seen it yet? I totally love Christina A. to pieces, adn even though she doesn't have the best voice on B'way, she is an amazing dancer and comedian, and I really am dying to see this show! I just want to hear anyone's take on it.

I love this show. I saw it in previews and it was great. The dancing was great, the songs were great, the story, sets, everything. It's really funny too! The people who are in it are really good, Christina isn't bad, she's not great. But she definately is good at the acting, it's the singing she isn't the best at. Oh whatever, great show, rush tickets seem very good!

Ooooo I really, really want to see it now! Yeah, I heard she is not a great singer, but then again I know for a fact the part of Charity was written for a dancer/actress not really a strong singer. I can't wait! Thanks for replying!

I just saw it, and I will admit for the first 20 minutes it was pretty bad. It wasn't until she met the actor, Victorio (hehe) that it started getting great. After that tho I was hooked! I loved it! Christina actually definitly grew as a singer, because when I saw her, she was great! Singing, as well! And her acting was perfection. And some ppl who waited outside the stage door for her(like me) got some roses she had gotten from an fan. SO I walked away with an autograph, pic and a rose. she was super sweet!

Yay! So glad you liked it, I do agree that when she meets Victorio at the club is when it starts getting, great.

Christina Applegate just has perfect comedic timing for the role, in my opinion. Although she really isn't at "Broadway star" level singing, she's able to pull it off really well.

I haven't seen the show, just a small performance by some of the cast members at a local mall, but from what I heard I think I would enjoy seeing it. I love listening to Paul Schoeffler (Victorio), so too bad he doesn't sing that much. Other than Christina, I would think the entire cast is pretty good at singing. Part of my interest in Paul is the fact that he played Captain Hook in the Cathy Rigby Peter Pan, and he's in the video from A&E if you want a sample of his performing skills. He does a great accent as Victorio, too.
