I hope I'm not being redundant. Has anyone else noticed that on the map before the show where "Rush Margins" should be it says "Rush Mavens"? Somebody tell me if I'm wrong. I guess it doesn't really matter anyway. Just thought it was interesting.

Hmmm...I never noticed...but I've only seen the touring company, so I'm not sure if it's different. If I (crosses fingers, toes, etc) win the lottery and get to see it again, I'll have a look...

Hmm, Where did you sit? I've seen it three times (NY) in the front row. (gotta love the lottery!) And I was always pretty sure it said rush margins. But I never did look that closely.  |

You are definately correct. I checked my program and it has a giant pic of the map. The map does say "Rush Mavens". I wonder why....

Oh yeah. Good thinking to look in the program. I looked too after you mentioned that, elphiefan. I didn't notice this at the show, but now that I checked it looks like "Stonespar End" is "Stonepar End". Oh well, I guess they deserve a little leeway. After all, the map is pretty cool. Especially the lighting on the emerald city. I went to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, whose lighting designer is Mr. Posner as well. They had this canvas hanging in front of their stage too, and there was some blue light on it that looked really similar to the Emerald City light. It was kinda cool since you could tell it was probably his idea again.

I LOVE the giant map at Wicked. The Emerald City is sooo pretty. I wanted to take it home with me...

Just got back from the Wed. Matinee, and the map did say Rush Mavens...so even the touring production is wrong. Maybe they liked Mavens better?

Maybe it took up the wrong amount of space aesthetically or looked funny in the font they used.
