Have any of you here seen the play/movie? If so, what do you think? I love the movie (Catherine Zeta-Jones is my idol) and I adored the play when I saw it too. What did you all think of it?

I enjoyed Chicago. My only regret was seeing the movie before the stage version because then the show wasn't as impressive. I saw the movie not knowing anything about it, so I didn't know what to make of it, but it's a wonderful show.

I did the same thing and the same thing happened to me. I enjoyed the show, but I didn't like how they didn't change any costumes or anything. I was too expected how amazing the costumes and such were in the movie, forgetting that it was a play and not a million dollar movie. lol Kelsey

I saw the movie knowing nothing about it, and still love it today! I don't think I'm going to see teh play, since, as you've said and so have many others, it isn't quite as detailed as the movie, and I'm afraid I may be a bit disappointed. Plus I love the cast, and may be disappointed with that as well

Interesting this comes up now, since I've recently been watching the movie (I always fall asleep before the end htough). I love it. I too have never seen the stage show, but I'd be enthralled I bet, even if it wasn't as detailed. I just love going to the theater and connecting with the actors and actresses playing their roles. DE

It is an amazing show and, if you can, I would recommend going to see it! Although its not as wonderful as the movie, I enjoyed it, plus there are a lot of songs in the play that weren't in the movie. ;D

I saw the movie knowing nothing, and while I'd love to see the show, I'd rather spend my money on new stuff (Light in the Piazza, Spamalot, some plays and Off-Broadway, etc.). I adore the movie, though
