I don't have one soon, but my school's one act festival is in a couple of moths.
Break a leg!!!! Bye, Bye Birdy was the first show I was ever in, so I love it dearly. (I was Mr. McAffee)

I'm posting part of this from the countdown thread: The show closed Friday night, and while the tech crew contains some of the best people I know, half of the cast was extremely angry at them. They, through a perfectly honest mistake, accidentally closed the curtain in the middle of the first scene of Friday (if you know the show, right after Rosie sings "An English Teacher" for the first time), which cut off about half of the plot. So, suddenly we were in Sweet Apple, Ohio with the teens from "Telephone Hour" and the audience had no idea why. The majority of the audience would have remained extemely confused with the show had not Rosie and Albert, without the directors' prompting, run out in front of the curtain to do a small scene that the director had added in previously and, instead of doing the scene, improvised the plot back into the show. That was a very long sentence, but it is now evident why the cast was mad at tech crew. They would have been much more upset had not Rosie and Albert saved the show. They are now my heros. Thursday was overall our best night, in my opinion. Wednesday's Act Two lacked energy because of long set changes, and Friday's Act One lacked energy becase the cast was simply tired. But it was great fun all the way. And as for belting (which I have a newfound love for) I could belt my song on Thursday and Friday, but not on Wednesday because I was sick. It was funny though, because on Friday people came up to me and said, "Ohmygod are you okay? I heard you were sick!" Well, I was sick...

I mean, I still like singing classical legit pieces, but you can have so much more fun belting!

I'm going to be in "The Prodigal." It's for a one-act play festival I'm going to be in. It's an original show, so I don't think anyone knows about it. It's about a man whose father disowns him for getting engaged to a black woman. He is killed shortly after, and sixty years later they re-open the case. I play the older brother. It's a pretty big part, and it gives lots of background information.
Also, my summer theatre program just announced its two main shows: Merrily We Roll Along and Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?. I usually only do one, so I really want Black Patent Leather Shoes, because not only is it my favorite book, but it is based off of my school. (That's the truth...John R. Powers went to my high school and the book/show is her memoir of it. It's awesome, because everyday on my way to class, I walk by the locker that's dedicated to him.)

It's play time at my school again...this time it's a comedy called The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood. And I, of course, am biased, but I think it's one of the most hysterical things I've seen in awhile. I have a smaller part this time, but it's still fun. It opened last night, and we'll have two more preformances, one tonight and one tomorrow. Yowza!

TSTTORH is over, but ohmygod, closing night was amazing, with three of the main parts doing so much (appropriate) improv that the rest of us couldn't stop laughing. And the cast party...::sighs::

I'm jealous. "The Prodigal" got cancelled two days before it opened cuz a couple people didn't know their lines and didn't go to rehearsal. I wish I was in a show right now!!
Oh well, I have auditions for "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?" and "Merrily We Roll Along" the first two days of June.
