I like the part of music in "What is this Feeling" where Glinda and Elphaba are singing "what is this feeling so sudden and new" While the Shiz students are singing "Loathing unadulterated loathing" on top of them I think the music is really cool there!
and in "Dancing Through Life" I like the music there
and in "One Short Day" the music is very jumpy and fun I love that!!

Favorite Lyrics: "Don't be offended by my frank analysis/Think of it as personality dialysis!" That actually only recently became my favorite lyrics, as I didn't know what "dialysis" meant before. ;-)

I think the tune for "Popular" in itself is adorable. But my favorite piece of music from the show would have to be the very end of "What is this Feeling?", when Galinda and Elphaba are singing and the ensemble is harmonizing...it's so exhilarating and fun. :-)

how can you make me choose?!?!?! i love all of them but if i had to pick a favorite i love all of what is this feeling i'm singing it with my voice teacher with my friend who is like the embodyment of galinda except for the fact that she's really tall i really love it my voice teacher has had us look at it so many different ways that it's always entertaining. also i love in something bad when dr. dillamond baaaas it's great. for good is a great song and i'm currently trying to convince my choir director to let us sing it this year at our POPS concert. also i'm not that girl the whole thing is just so poignant idk it's sweet kind of...

I could not agree more!!! I love that music! Defying Gravity is my all-time favorite song!!!!!!!! I love the quotes from it:

Don't ask me why but for some strange (really strange reason) I like the part in No good deed when she says "Fiyero where are you already dead or bleeding? One more diaster I can add to my genorous(sp) supply!" Strange!

I also like the part in defying gravity when Elphaba says "So if you care to find me, look to the western sky." But I only like it on the c-d, Shoshana Bean isn't as good as Idina Menzel.

Wow, I actually narrowed it down to two. I'm going to think of more later I know it!
