Oh my god that's so horrible!!!! AHHHHH!
I have one:
...Your dad and mom start singing the Wicked lyrics in the car. (Yeah, my dad is a complete scarecrow when it comes to showtunes...he'll just start making up random lyrics and tunes to shows...but when he actually knows the right words....now that's scary!)

I'm thinking I'm gonna make a shirt using these- the front will be black with the Wicked logo, and on the back, it will say, "You know you're truly WICKED when... (lists some of these posts). I saw one of these shirts made for Rent- "You know you're a RENTHEAD when..."
Anyone else like this idea?

I want to take a black tee shirt and paint 'I'll get you my pretties' on the front in green fabric paint. I'm not sure if I should put something on the back. Opinions? -gyps

I think you should put: "And that cute little dog--what's his name? Dodo?" That'd be really excellent!

Every year my school does something like American Idol, only this time we hear about 10 or 15 clips of people singing, played on the morning announcements, and we get to vote eventually. The thing is, no one knows the names of the singers until *after* the voting, since my school goes by politics and popularity moreso then actual talent.
Anyways, I didn't participate in this, wouldn't want to be so publically humiliated. But today, this one girl did 'The Wizard and I.' And on the screen it read "The Wizard and I, from the show Wicked, as sung by Adena Menzel!!! I got so mad, screaming that they spelled her name wrong! I'm sure Jeni got pissed too, defacing our poor Idina. And no one knew why I was so upset, they're just like "Ok, Ally, she's not singing *that* badly." They jst don't get it! Jeni, I'm surprised Tara didn't notice that. -gyps

Well, technically they didn't spell it wrong, they just didn't use her stage name. Or, well, they combined her stage name and her real name. Our girl was born Adena Mentzel. ("Adena" is Hebrew and means "gentle" if memory serves) She changed to Idina cuz everybody pronounced and spelling it wrong. And they still do, so apparently the name change didn't fix the problem llam (For the record its ih-deena, not eye-deena, which makes a whole lot more sense once you see what her name used to be...).

I was trying to get a friend to listen to "Here" today and got halfway through one song (tried to hook her on So Beautiful) she turned it off and said she couldn't listen to it anymore. Now this friend is one of very few Jewish girls in our suburb so in trying to defend Idina's amazing vocal talents I found myself saying "well, if I told you she was Jewish and got her start singing at bar mitzvahs, would you like her then?" My friend took a look at the CD cover and sneered "Idina Menzel, that's not a Jewish name." So I explained to her about the changes- that it used to be Adena Mentzel (thanks to Aly for that bit of trivia ) and finally she relented that it was a Jewish name but that the music was still bad. I quickly took my leave of her and ran off in a huff. Oh gosh I've gotten off topic. You know you're obsessed with Wicked when you go out in below freezing weather without your coat just because you have to show off your Defy Gravity shirt Also the fact that you'd deliberately forget things at the store just so you can go back and show off the shirt some more.

I did that at the strike of the Cabaret show I just did. Of course I sucked, cause I wasn't in the show, I was stage manager. I sing like a dying animal....llam

You keep getting comments on your Wicked shirts and every time someone says anything you reply "thanks, I've been Galinda-fied."

YKYOwWw... You get random things posted on your dorm door, just because the word WICKED appears in it. (4 ads, 2 pages from books, 1 dictionary definition) You get random comments on your wipe board. (Latest: "Beware witches. Water ahead.") You are known simply as "Elph," "Elphie," "Faba," or anyother wicked name by more then one person. (My philosophy class knows me as Fae. ) You try to choreograph a song not done/better then in the show.
