Awww, Malory you can fufill your musical theaterness with us now! I have friends who are into musical theatre but no one is really into Wicked yet (only my friend Kyle). I'm taking my best friend to see it in two weeks, so we'll see then . I did notice something else I've been doing. I work at a video store and when I ring customers up I always somehow mention Wicked. Like, I'm always putting on The Music Man (with Kristin Chenoweth) and when people ask about I'll say, "Yeah, it's a good movie! Kristin Chenoweth is in it and she's in this amazing new show right now. " And I'll go on and on as the customer is slowly inching away. ~~~Amy~~~

Hey Malory isn't Kristin Chenoweth from Oklahoma? Your state can't be THAT musical-dry to have produced an actress like that! And like Amy says, you have us now <vwg>. No one in my city and sometimes I think in my whole province is into Wicked. That's what makes this board so great- getting to talk to other obsessees!!
You get to put Music Man on in your video store Amy? No way! I wish my local video store would put on Music man! What a good show promoter you are!

Yeah...so I went Prom dress shopping with my little sister today... She picked out a really cute dress...it's black with a pink design...she tried it on and modeled it for my mom and her best friend. I come charging into the dressing room with a matching pink flower in my hand, force my sister to sit on a stoll and proceed to place it against the side of her head and start singing "We're gonna make you popular!" at the top of my lungs... Got several weird looks from the clerks...but my sister and mom were in tears. The best friend was totally lost...but what can I say? Wicked brings families together.

Last night I slept over my friend's house and we were doing our math homework at like midnight and we were really tired yet really hyper. We got stuck on this one stupid problem and proceeded to make a parody about it. "defying calculus". It was hysterical. I was all like "I hope you're happy. I hope you're happy now. I hope you're happy we're stuck factoring forever. I hope you think you're clever! I hope YOU'RE happy. I hope you're happy too. I hope you're proud how you just lazily sit there drinking while I do all the thinking!" And my favorite was "Amanda, come with me. Think of all we can factor together!" I was rolling on the floor.

It's so much fun, especially torturing my co-workers. In the past month I've put on The Music Man a million times, The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat, and My Fair Lady (not to mention I'm always putting on Mulan/Aladdin so I can listen to Lea Salonga and Hercules because it's my new favorite Disney movie and Susan Egan is in it). So, I figure if I can't work on Broadway I might as well promote it! Let's see, getting back on topic......In acting class the other day, my teacher was telling us about this movement exercise we have to do and the object is to get her attention. So, I was considering painting myself green, so I'll stand out from everyone else. But then I realized that I'm going to have to go to all my other classes as well........... ~~~Amy~~~

I do that with my friend too. After a particularly tough play rehersal, we were walking out in the rain and I start singing a very sarcastic 'Thank Goodness' about how much I hated being in the play (which i really dont, it just frustrates me). I think I remember a little of it. 'I couldn't be happier, no I couldn't be /happier/, and though I may pretend, this hell never ends and this play's so friggin stupid! There's not much of an interesting...plot. There's a couple of bitches...f*ck.' And I just kept going on and on about my miserable time in the theater. I just wish I could remember it, it's actually quite funny. -gyps

Where do you get your Wicked moments?
Standing on the corner of 42nd and 8th Ave sharing a pair of headphones (with the Wicked CD playing of course!) with a friend and bursting into song occasionally but almost ALWAYS at exactly the same time.

Well...I'm late to the topic I'm still catching up on all the posting I missed when I was away! But like I said before: I use clock tick all the time, I tend to say "Oh Shiz" in place of another word , I say swankified a lot about everything! (haha..which I think is driving some of my friends nuts), and I'll tell people "Oz-speed" for good and pretty much let "Oz" replace much of my "God" in talking (ex. "Great Oz" "Oh my Oz!" etc). I'm sure there's more seeing how the show and book have totally taken over my life, lol...but that's all I can think of right now. Rachel

Oh yes, I almost forgot one... Just recently two of my friends and I decided to drink a little more than we should have and, among other things, we spent an hour or more just singing and reenacting "One Short Day" for no apparent reason! With plenty of falls and slips, but I don't think we actually made one mistake as far as forgetting any words! Rachel

It's not a drunk night if it doesn't include me calling my best friend and singing Popular. In fact last time I was home, I put her on speaker phone and her, me and my mom joined in. The conversation ended with both my mother and Nicole going, "Sarah...just go to bed." LLAM. What can I say, when I party I party
