I had some really good ones. Two nights ago, I dreamt I was holding a sign outside the Gershwin and Idina is walking in, and in a very diva-like, snobby way, she walks right into me. So I hit her with the sign I was holding, we got into this huge fight, and the Gershwin ended up falling down.
Last nights was more Idina related then Wicked, but I guess I can say it anyways. In my dream, I went with a friend of mine to go see Rent at this entirely different Broadway theater that doesn't *really* exist. So my friend and manage to get seats in the fifth row, the two seats on the right side of the middle. So we're watching the show, and it's intermission and I notice the one that had played Maureen tonight was actually Idina, and she was sitting alone on the right side of the audience, about 5 feet away from me!!!
So, freaking out, I go over to her and tell her "Wow, I love Wicked so much, and your other stuff, and I love your music, and I think you're amazing." She looks really surprised and thanks me, then we have this little discussion about that song 'Making Good,' which she ends by saying "I think you should sing it, your voice is great for it." We had a very funny conversation and when I asked why she was in Rent today, she said she wanted to give Eden a chance to be Elphie but she really wanted to perform. It was really under wraps, her Maureen thing. She toned down a lot. Then I run to Julie and grab a random Playbill from this big overnight bag she's carrying: It's for this (nonexistant) Show called 'Winter Wonderland' and it has a bunch of signatures on the front, so I give her the back and ask if she could sign it. She wrote something like this:
'Dear Ally, thanks for the great time! Lol, it was fun. I'm looking forward to hearing when you manage to get a hold of 'Still Cnt Be Still,' even though it's older. Thank's for buying 'Here.' Great to meet you,
Love, Idina.'
So then we say goodbye and I'm like 'Have fun with Taye,' and she winks and goes 'Yes, I am thank you. Jealous?' So I sit down and watch the rest of the show, which was amazing. On our way out, we see a cop car and Idina AND Kristin Chenoweth come out. Kristin goes into the theater but the cop makes Idina walk in a circle and go back to the car. But as she's walking, I run up to her and tell her I already *had* 'Still.' But the cop kicked me so I went away. Then I went home (still dreaming) and ST is like "We really hate you." and I asked who and she's like 'Haven't you ever heard of a winkie prince?" And that's it. ^_^
