Dear Wicked, Thank you so much for being the musical you are. As a result of being obsessed with this musical, I've come to know and love Broadway in general. I live far away from NYC, so I've never had much of a chance to see the lastest musical. As a result of listening to the Wicked OBCR constantly, I've come to love to love other musicals, such as Children of Eden and Aida, to name a few. Thanks Wicked! DE I know I cannot be the only one who now loves Broadway because of starting off with Wicked. Who else?

Amen. I mean, I loved West Side Story and Guys and Dolls (and all those cute little movie musicals) but on seeing them on Broadway? Never had a chance to. Only musical to come to Hawai'i: Cats. And I never saw that since my best friend-at the time-nodded off in one of the shows. (We were like, ten, dammit.) Most recent "musicals" I saw before going all the way up to New York for the January 7th show were Farrington High School's "Children of Eden" and "Disney on Ice" the year before that.
Wicked has taught me that not ALL guys in theater are gay, and that there is still a chance that I could marry one, and that musicals kick major theater-ass.

Wicked is,to steal everyone's words, what really got me hooked into Broadway.I'd already wanted to act on stage, but this just makes me want to more. I've also found 1)My role model, and 2)Smexy guys because of Wicked! And *pokes everyone awake after long rambles* free Juicy Fruit now! THANK YOU WICKED!!!

Just like DancingElphie, Wicked got me into Broadway. It got me listening to a lot of different types of music as well, because before Wicked I just listened to hard rock. Then, after I fell in love with Wicked, I had to check out Idina and Kristin's solo stuff (which is amazing, by the way). And, of course, I'm also hooked on cast recordings Wicked also changed my career goals, lol. Now, I'm aiming to be a harpist in the broadway pit orchestras. Before, I just knew I wanted to be a harpist. I didn't have a specific goal. So, all in all, Wicked rocks. ;D

Wicked truly got me interested in Broadway, and expanded my horizons. Also, it gives me something to do. (Hey, it's true, though.) Also, I've met alot of people through a love of Wicked. And it pops up everywhere. And it very inspiring. ~Done ranting!
