It's not an official game or anything, but I just finished making a Wicked adventure game in the style of old school '90s point and click games. It's called... One Day at ShizIn the musical, Galinda tries to make Elphie popular and doesn't succeed. The game explores what would happen if Galinda freaked out about it, based on DefyingGravity12's line from the Three Word Story, "Elphaba....never...popular!" Yes, there are Three Word Story lines in it, though I misquoted them pretty bad. Anyways, the game should download and work right, but if anyone has trouble please tell me. And, unfortunately, it doesn't work on Macs, which is pretty stupid because I made it on a Mac (although I used Virtual PC). You can download the game's zip file here: members.lycos.co.uk/skullbank13

My God, you made that? That's so cool. I'm playing it now. I love it; "This is no time to be touching myself." And, the "it was Elphaba in the bedroom with the candlestick" thing is great, too. All the dialouge is perfect and hilarious. Very, very clever. Great job! How did you make it, and how long did it take?

Wow....that is amazing. I could never make something like that! You are really talented...wow.... Anyway, I feel so...tear, tear...honored that my 3 words could have played a part in something so great. llam

Yay! I'm glad people got it to work!! It took me forever just to make it download-able. Special thanks to those brave enough to actually try it! ^_^ So, I'm curious, how are people doing on the game play? And what does everyone think about my vision of Shiz? (Except the Buttery, because it's the most horribly decorated room ever. Madame Morrible decorated it, I swear.) I actually drew the bedchamber before seeing the musical, and I was surprised by how similar I'd designed Elphie and Galinda's beds.
stars in the sky: I feel like such a traitor for making a Windows only game, but it couldn't be helped (blame the program I made it on).
Tinkerbell: I'm glad you like the dialoge; I took special care to make it all interesting (and random). I made the game on a free program called Adventure Game Studio (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/). And it took me, like, around three months to make (including drawing the sprites).
DefyingGravity12: You are truly special to be singled out for this honor. Ha ha...
emeraldroad: It says it's corrupted?? Bummer. I've tried to figure out all the problems, but this isn't one I've come across. Maybe it's a requirement problem or something... (I really have no idea what the requirements are for my game because I'm a dork...)

*Thinking* ... Well, I'm not sure what I can do at the moment, but I can try to see what can be fixed.

Don't feel too bad; I think it's pretty cool/great that you made it in the first place. Plus, I'm not much of a gamer anyway.

I finished the game! It was really, really cool. There was one time I had a hard time getting out of the Suicide Canal place, but I ended up restarting the game and then I had no problem when it came time for that. I also tried forever to make Elphie into an aquatic mammal, or fly out to get the fishing pole before remembering that there was a Duck in their bedroom, lol. Love your vision of Shiz. Oh, and that sketch was so not crappy Three months? Wow. I probably would have given up. Great job!

Cool, I'm glad you could figure everything out. Did you have a hard time getting out of Suicide Canal because exiting it wasn't working or because you couldn't tell how to get out?

Probably cause I just didn't know how to get out, lol. I couldn't figure out where to click, and I kept trying to make her fly away, magic herself away, or find the drawing of the map in the toolbar thing to click where to go. I eventually figured it out, haha.

Congratulations on a great game! I haven't played it, but to make that you've got to be good. Stupid compatibilty problems, eh? I'm a Mac person too, but I don't mind at all.
