^___^;;; When I saw Wicked on December 29th, 2003, there was this one blooper...but I'm not sure if it was one or if it wasn't. What happened was, during Popular (well, when they talked right before the song), Kristin was giving a hair clip to Idina and it got caught in her hair. She improvised and said "Sometimes, they don't wanna come out!" and she gave one of those "opera screeches" of hers. I found this funny, but was it a blooper? I don't think they'd do this in the script...ah well. I'm sure there was one more blooper but I just can't think of it now...hm. ><;;;

Yeah, I think it was a blooper, not entirely sure as I've only seen the show twice but I don't think they would put that in purposly either.

I saw the show on June 24th, and there were a couple of things... First, during "Popular", Cheno was trying to pin the pink flower into Eden's hair, and it wouldn't stay, so she looked at it all disgusted, then said, "Ehh, who needs finishing touches anyway?!" and tossed it over her shoulder. I found that one quite amusing. I think someone's already mentioned this one, but Norbert did say something intended for Eden to Cheno instead (something about a "green girl"), so he started laughing... then Cheno took Eden's hat and started trying to put it on and stuff... Norbert and Eden were CRACKING UP... so they were already giggly... and then Norbert squats down (I forget why he did), and HIS PANTS SPLIT. That's when they completely lost it. Finally, after a little bout of laughing, Eden started doing the whole "Cut it out!!" sign across her throat. Oh man, I was about falling out of my seat. They amuse me. SO much. ;D

im not sure if this is supposed to happen or if she was just sick or something, but during defying gravity and a couple speaking parts idina kept caughing and it seemed kinda out of place. so its not really a blooper but thought id mention it any way

Oh man, I hope there are a blooper or two when I see the show. I think it makes show so much better to see that even the pros make mistakes too.
WitchingHour, you said something about an "opera screech". Is that like, a SLC? Just wondering.
Hehe, I have no bloopers to add, as I've never seen the show but...I read that during the scene where Fiyero swings in on a rope, he swung on and like, jumped off and the rope swung back and wrapped around Kristin and started dragging her off stage. In an interview where this was mentioned Norbert said: "It was like watching Barbie get hung." Hehe, that makes me crack up everytime I read it.

this isnt much of a blooper but yet i feel like posting it. when i saw wicked july 8, during one short day kristin dropped her yellow purse. yes..thats all. she giggled though and bent down to pick it up and then hopped back up. its hardly a blooper
though i did notice that while the big wizomania show was going on kristin was blowing her nose in the background lol

To SLC is to "squeal like cheno" or in this case "Squeal like myself" b/c cheno did it. But anyway, thanks for the explanation. I get it now.

When i saw wicked the first time, in "March of the Witch Hunters" when someone slammed their weapon on the stage it broke and hit someone in the row i was in (second row) That would be Kathy Deitch. She swung her mallet and the head flew off. It bounced off of the ear of the stafe and landed in the second row, hitting an 18 year old girl. The girl wasn't hurt but was given a backstage tour. Kathy talked to her and then named her weapon "Malory" after the girl. It's still named Malory - the whole cast knows it and there is a piece of tape with the name next to the spot where it is kept. However, no one has to worry about this happening again. Kathy said the head of the mallet has been screwed on and won't be "flying off the handle" anymore.

It hit Malory?! Would that be Very-Good-Icons-Malory? Curious, but anyway that is hilarious. How exciting to have a prop named after you.
