In my reading class today, we were doing REALLY easy vocabulary exercises. One of the words was loathing. When my teacher read the word to the class, several other Wicked-obsessed people and I started humming What Is This Feeling? at the top of our lungs!

Yesterday was the Talent Show at our school. And... Popularity and I sang "For Good!" It was so much fun. We were both in costume: she in this glittery blue ball dress, me in a long black dress, a witch's hat, and (surprise, surprise) green makeup. I was kind of nervous: I mean, we were opening up the Talent Show and there were about 670 something people (roughly half of the school) in the audience. Oh, but we did well. Popularity, of course, has this beautiful soprano voice and I...didn't miss my notes. So all was good. YAY!

My friend and I were waiting for rides after rehearsal, so we decided to sing the entire score of Wicked. (we didn't entirely finish, llam) But there were nuns staring at us..yes, nuns!

I was the only one in my Language Arts class to know what an apothecary was. I borrowed this book from my friend today (Standardized testing, and I had finished early and finished my book) called Invasion of the Boy Snatchers from the Clique series (it's so shallow, but they're kinda funny!) and it mentions, and I quote, "Frankenstein-boot wearing drama geeks skipping down the hall singing "Popular" from the Broadway musical Wicked" I smiled. I would have laughed, but the whole testing thing prevented me from doing it.

A random sophomore guy started singing "Popular" when he saw my pin today...not the type you'd expect to remotely know Wicked, either.

Thank goodness.
Today in Drama Club the teacher brought in clips from Wicked (not bootlegged, taped from a TV show) to show to the class. They were so good-original cast, and I'd never seen the Cheno before. Wonderful!

I got the coolest graduation gift. It's a WWotW doll, but it looks so much like Idina!Elphie as opposed to the movie one. I couldn't get a picture of just it, so here's one from the website:
