Yesterday, my mom and my sister came over to visit. My sister and I live in the same city, her in University, and me just kinda working, so we're pretty close. We're also both very obsessed with Wicked. We're eating dinner, and talking, while I show her pictures of Wicked. My mom is just watching us, and then she says:

"Who's that? Figaro?" (Fiyero). My sister and I just looked at each other for a moment, and then burst out laughing. It was funny... well, maybe you had to be there.

I was repainting our living room today, and the colour is called 'dusty rose', it's like a really really pale pink that looks white in the sunlight but pinker in the evenings, and as I'm painting my mom says to me 'this is really pink. It's Galindafied!' She was so proud of herself that she had to tell each of my brothers that our living room was 'Galindafied' when they came home.

I'm still on vacation so we we're at the beach and in the sand I wrote "Wicked" and then wrote the names of everyone in the OBC....[in the sand llam] and some random guy came over and started reading it..and I was sort of embarrassed..he asked what it was and i gave him a synopsis of the show and hes like "oh my god! i saw that in star magazine!" llam..it was really cool that someone not interested in Broadway/not from NY or anything knew about Wicked!

Eep, this completely made my day!!

We were driving home from our friends house this morning (we went for brunch) and we were driving around looking at all the pretty houses that were just built and I look at the street sign and we were on UPLAND LANE!!!! I started SLCing and my family looked and just shook their heads. Well, if that didn't make me mondo excitified, I found out we might be moving there!! How cool would that be, to live in Upland Lane. Then I could tell everyone I'm Grant from the Upper Upland...Lane... ;D

This happened the other day, but I forgot to post it:
I was out at the mall with my friend Rebecca, and we went into Build-A-Bear and bought these adorable little stuffed puppies. And she asked me what I was going to name mine. So I said, "His name is Fiyero!" And she says, "What should I name mine?" And I said, "Glinda." And she said, "It's a boy!" And I said, "So? Name it Glinda."

And when I was at the mall, because I saw it and had to have it, I bought a green and pink *blacked out so I don't scare anyone, read if you dare* thong! *giggles*

Anyway, my newest Wicked moment of the day is...
The other day I was reading the Princess Diaries book and I was on page 105 (for those of you who want have the book and want to read this part) and Lilly (Mia's best friend) was telling Mia that her grandmom had and I quote "delusions of grandeur!" I started to sing DG which was funny because I was in bed and it was 12:30 at nite!! Oh well I guess it was really a Wicked moment of the night!

Okay, so my friend Dustin had his school schedule posted on his AIM profile... 1st period he has Spanish II with a teacher named West and 4th period he has gym with a teacher named Maguire... West... Maguire... I completely freaked out.

So, I'm doing this workshop with my high school's theatre department and it's dance for Oklahoma (the first show they are doing this year) and we were doing this weird dance thing which was like sashaying in a square shape with a partner and leaping and spinning all really really fast and whenever I'd get it right I'd go "I got it! I got it!" and most of the time it came out sounding like Cheno when she goes "I got it!" during Popular (Do you want me to try? No, I got it!). Lol, yep, thats about it!

i went to visit loyola today and they had pink and green sweatshirts...i almost bought one but my heart belongs to nyu (where idina went!) so i didnt need another sweatshirt. but i thought about it!

i was in Barnes & Nobles today and was just walking around and i saw this lady looking at Wicked and i was like " Thats a really good book" and she was all "really? have you read it? etc.." and i told about the musical and showed her the Wicked book with all the pictures and i succesfully addicted another person to wicked! she bought the book ( the new one with pictures and said after she was done with the book if she liked it she would think about getting the recording and/or seeing it because she goes to NY alot. sqee! i was very proud of my wickedness

this isnt a huge wicked moment but i felt like it was wicked-related enough for me to post.. today i was in the hamptons with my friend and we were eating lunch at this pizza place..and i didnt realize but i looked at the name of it and it was called fierro's pizza! (pronounced the same way as fiyero). i started flipping out and my friend (who isnt farmiliar with wicked) thought i was crazy! it was pretty funny ;D

I was in Vermont the other day, and there was a restaurant called (I believe) Wicked Good Pizza. My mom pointed it out, which shows how much I've affected her.

This is more of a WoO but ill post it here Iguess..llam..also im not sure if anybody posted about this before, sry if anyone did....but anyway

When I was in Florida, I went to Disney/MGM and in MGM they have a ride called "The Great Movie Ride" and one section of the ride they have the munchkin scene from the WoO where the wicked witch aka elphaba comes out and tries to get the ruby slippers from Dorothy. Of course I was flipping out and took like 10 pictures even though your not really supposed to...llam...it was really cool!
