Hey guys! I'm currently writing a Wicked fic, and I need a very serious beta who is willing to criticize. I've had several betas before hand who just tell me it's great, and end up not checking anything! Anyway, I'm currently writing a Yero/Elphie fic, and hopefully it will be one of my longer ones. Anyone willing to stick with me enough to beta it for me?

I'll be the beta for you! Anyways, I'm not really going off topic becuase I plan to myself, for the first time, write a fic. Since I'm new, and a bit of a perfectionist (watch it turn out really crappy) this soculd take a while...but I swear...it's coming!

Hey...if you like the idea of having a challenge type of thing, why don't you enter my writing contest at WickedOnBroadway.net, the Green Flask Writing Contest. I didn't even see this thread till after I had it up, but seems like a good match. The winner this month gets a playbill signed by Joel Grey...and the privilege to use the dorky little banner thing I made as the award thing. I'm trying to come up with something to write for that with hopes of getting rid of my writer's block, but if I don't enter you'll know why. ;p I do think the contest is a really awesome idea, though.

Well, so far, I have no entries...so I'm wondering if I should just take away the prompt and take any old entries. I'm just wondering if people feel too limited and just dismiss the whole idea...maybe I should have multiple prompts..anyone have any suggestions. Because that would be Oztacular. Thanks. In the book, it's five years from the time Elphie leaves Shiz to the time Fiyero finds her again...I don't think it's quite that long in the musical, because I don't see the characters age that much. For instance, Glinda and Morrible are still in touch, and Glinda and Fiyero are still going out. ::gags:: But apparently they *have* graduated from Shiz or else Nessa wouldn't be governor. So I'd say go with three of four years...hope this rambling helps at least a little llam. =P Michelle |
