here's a new fic, i like it better than my other one:
I found the box the other day, as I was rummaging through an old wardrobe. I knew I had left those shoes in there when the Quoxwood wardrobe was ordered from the heart of Munchkin Land but that’s not all. My maid must have disregarded the velvet, rectangular box on the very top shelf. I mean, she was a Munchkin so she must have obviously ignored the top shelf instead of plaguing herself with more work than was necessary.
But it was found and that’s what matters. No one knew what was in the box. Just her and I. Her and I…

Dearest Galinda,
Your father and I were very disappointed about your room arrangements for the year at Shiz University. Please do not perform any rash actions. You could desperately disgracify your family name. Cloakwalls’ has sent your new gowns. I sent them a day after this letter, so expect them by carriage in a day or so. Remember: Nothing rash, duckie.
As I lifted the soft velvet covered lid of the box, that letter was perched on the very top of the large stack of parchment. As I read it, a flow of memories surged through my head, hitting the walls of my cranium, like a stream meeting a boulder. My first week at Shiz, being paired as a roommate to the outcast. That green girl from the Hovels. I had written to Mommsy and Popsicle about it, complaining as I was expected to do, me being who I was: Miss Galinda of the Arduennas. It was a habit, of course. Mother had written back, but it did nothing to comfort me. Parents just don’t understand.
What do you think?? Reply please!!
