Well Journal, today was horrible, my parents sent me off to this prep school for all the kids of Oz and i met this girl , Galinda, she is so self- absorbed! I sat with her on the carriage up! She called me a midgit! There was this very pretty girl in a chair, i dont know her name yet but i will find out! She was so... so... tragically beautiful! Then there was this green girl, Elphaba, she seemed nice, she began to talk to me, she was quite smart compared to Galinda! She was so nice... She and I both got picked on because where different... Well, I hope mom and dad are happy, they have sent 16 year old Boq to the horrible place they send bad people to instead of the unknown place! Oh Oz, what Am I going to do? Well the school isnt so bad expect im the shortest boy and everyone doesnt like munchkins! I feel so bad, I wanna cry but thats not what father would want, he is always telling me "Boq, crying is for girls, boys deal with there problems" My parents are so strict, I wanna find my true self here and not be who my parents want! This begins a new era for me journal, a new Boq! Must go do my homework, that Madam Morrible is horrible when it comes to homework! But i will write more about my adventures here as they progress!

Brutally honest? Umm, Shiz was a university, therefore a 16 year-old Boq wouldn't be attending. But I like the story idea!

I know that Shiz was unversity but kinda wrote it as though they were going into high school, i did write a "prep school for all the kids of Oz" which i thought meant high school but im glad u like!

Really smart people can get into college at 16, so maybe Boq is really smart? Or it could be that there isn't a school between elementary school and university. Excellent idea for a journal.

I like the idea -- a lot of journals springing up -- but if it were a high school, Elphaba wouldn't be there, if you are going with the musical or book plot. I believe all of the characters didn't know each other before Shiz. And Morrible teaches at the University, not a high school/academy. But of course, this could be your own like...plot haha. Good job!

In the book Boq did know Elphaba because he's mother or grandmother watched Elphaba as a child n I believe Boq was one of the babies she intereacted with but i maybe wrong! I will write more of this journal later.

Dear Journal,
Well this could not get any worse! My first real day here and I am labeled a tag-a-long. I have become very close to Elphaba, and now people have been calling me her shadow which is just not true! So besides that all the kids pick on me because im short but Elphaba tells them to stop and since there scared of her, it works. Im kind of attracted to Galinda, she is so pretty, I wish she would notice me! That whole midgit thing was just a facade! She is quite nice! Or am I just blinded by lust like Elphaba says!
I AM SO CONFUSFIED!
Oh Oz. Journal, Life is so complex
Well, I am suppose to meet Elphaba at the library, i will write more soon.

OK, just trying to clear things up for me: is this supposed to be able to connect with Wicked the book? Like a prequel. Or is this taking the characters and settings from Wicked, removing the plot, changing Shiz to a high school, and writing a brand new story?
