PM me your icons by Friday Use the phrase "No one mourns the wicked" (additional lyrics from the song are fine, but you have to include this) on a NON-Wicked picture base. You can do Darth Vader, Voldemort, George Bush, people from Boston using slang, whatever. The only off-limits pictures are, of course, anything Wicked-related, including rehearsals, publicity shots, and any pictures of cast members. Good luck and happy iconing! |

Okay, things are going to be slightly odd around here for the next couple weeks; I'll be in and out of town and couldn't find anyone to cover for me. Never fear, though, I have a plan that should work! PM me your vote (pick a number!) with a subject to the flavor of "iContest vote - NOMTW". I always assume you talented makers are voting for yourselves unless I hear otherwise. Now, next week's challenge. Bear with me here...   Use this picture and incorporate text so that your icon is as humorous as possible. (I got this idea from LiveJournal user's onlyliesxx icon above.) If you plan to enter this round, post your submission on this thread. If you want to vote in this round, PM me your vote (with your choice's username) with a subject line to the flavor of "iContest vote - ALAYM". I'll add up both of these votes on Saturday 25 June when I return, and I'll post both winners and a new challenge then. After that, everything should go back to normal (i.e., submit a new entry by Friday 1 July, vote by the third, etc.). If you have questions...sorry, I'll be away. But this should work. I have returned! My trip rocked off my socks...turns out my LA relations are seeing Wicked on tour  And so, to business. Congratulations to the winner of the NOMTW contest, Stage Fiyero!  Again, I can't make prize banners or anything, but *yay*. FYI people-- if you're reading this and haven't entered, please submit your vote because I'm not getting that many! I haven't received any votes for this week's contest (the humorous ALAYM icon), though these entries look great! I'm going to declare entering it closed and voting open for it.
