Well, ElphieandFiyero was the only person that entered this week, so congrats to our winner!  Is there a reason that with several hundred people on this board we don't seem to get much activity over here? Anything I can do better? Well, anyway, I'll put up next week's contest now, and votes'll be due next Friday, as per usual. This week's only contest restriction is that your icon cannot have any pictures in it. Brushes, text, animation, and homemade designs are fine, but no actual pictures! Well, and it has to be Wicked-related, of course. Good luck, and please submit! |

I haven't been requiring entrants to vote, because (as I've said) I assume they're voting for their own submissions unless they tell me otherwise, in which case I will count such votes.

Well of course, entrants wouldn't be allowed to vote for their own... that's a given. But obviously when there's only two entrants they don't need to vote because the votes cancel each other out.

Well, only one entry this week (again). Thanks to Wishes to be Glinda!  Next week's challenge; entries due by Friday, as per usual: A still icon (i.e., no animation) with a picture of any Wicked person or people in costume and in character with the text "____ doesn't like idiots." Replace the blank with the name(s) of the person/people in the picture, obviously. (The challenge is based on this icon  , which LiveJournal user morikumo_js12 made. You can use Glinda if you like, just be original.) Orchestrator's note: Obviously, this hasn't been the most wildly successful iContest. I've got two more challenges stored up after this one, so once I've let those loose here, I think I'm going to call it quits unless things get a bit more active. I'm not mad at anyone or anything; I know [some of  ] you all have lives and whatnot! But I'm off to college in a month myself, so the timing of my potential resignation here coincides nicely anyway. (I'll still be around the board hardcore and all, just not doing this unless it garners some more interest). If anyone would like to take over now-ish or in a few weeks, feel free to speak up Until then, happy iconing! <3 |
