Hey everyone! I am brand new to this or any message board so hopefully I am doing this right. I have already introduced myself in another topic. I don't know if anyone has heard but there is supposed to be a special on PBS called "Broadway: The American Musical" airing Oct. 19-21. It is a three-day series discussing 100+ years of Broadway. It starts with 1893 to the present. The series ends with the filmmaker discussing Broadway's commercial and "corporate dominance" so naturally he will discuss Wicked seeing that it is a huge commercial success; not to mention it cost $14 million to produce. It is kinda like a "making of a musical". I think he was there for the full production of the show, casting, in San Francisco, everything. The whole series should be excellent but of course I am looking forward to seeing Wicked. You can learn more about it at www.pbs.org.
