Does anyone know where I can find Wicked wave files? Off topic: how do I attach those fabulous animated or still Wicked photos next to my posts like you do? I am not computer savvy and would appreciate your help. Thanks  |

If you go to the Dr. Dillamond's Class thread in Rush Margins, you can find specific instructions on how to post an icon (which is what those little picture-thingies are). I KNOW that you'll be able to find that in the questions, and I'm think I might've been the one who asked it! ;D I'm not so computer savvy myself....PM me if you have any questions.

Erm, it's against the rules to discuss bootlegs here... in fact, a BoZ is probably going to come along and lock this thread. Though I don't know if you mean WHOLE songs or just clips of... still, probably not something to be discussed publicly. ((But welcome to the board!  I don't want to come off as mean, here. I am not talking about bootlegs of any kind. I am only looking for computer wave files, partial that I can use for my computer to start or exit Windows. That is all.
since mp3's and real player files of songs are not recognized by Windows to be played while opening or closing windows, I am only looking for wave files so I can use them for Windows.
No bootlegs, only waves.....

ooo i like sound clips. and at www.wickedthemusical.com in the sights and sounds section they have small clips from a couple songs but i dont how you would get them to work on windows. |

Thanks Kay for being stand-in BoZ for us since Ally and I haven't checked this section today  Yes it is against our board policy to talk about downloading bootleg files, and truthfully I dunno how comfortable the BoZ are with discussing sharing any files, wav or not. Not sure, I'll definitely find out though. But for now let's say I have never heard of there being any Wicked wav files but your best bet for finding out would be to check in the wicked_musical community on www.livejournal.com to see if anyone there has any. Okay amending this post cuz after discussion with BoardMama it has been decided that discussion of wav files OF THE CD will be allowed but we won't tolerate any discussion of trading any LIVE FILES So looks like the official website or livejournal would be your best bets, hun. Now I'm locking the thread cuz I answered the question as best the BoZ could and I don't want any controversy breaking out (yeah I'm cowardly that way) But if anyone has wav files of the Wicked cast recording, you can get in touch with elphaba17 by PM.
