Just got the CD+G "Sing teh Songs of Wicked." It has all the highlights of the show on it, minus the singing so taht you can sing it urself, karaoke style, and it is AMAZING! It uses Schwartz's original orchestrations and has alot of actual instruments rather than syntehsizers only. As a result, it doesn't sound like most karaoke CD's. It just doesnt have that stereotypically "karaoke" sound. It sounds almost like instrumental versions of all our fave songs. if you put it in a CD+G player with a screen, or if teh player is hooked up to the TV, you see the words, leading you along in typical karaoke fashion. But just playing it in a regular cd player is fine too. It's what I did for my shower today. hehe. I love Wicked. ;D

OMO, I saw the cover of the CD...how icky looking is that witch?! Not pretty like Idina at ALL. When I get it, I'll just make my own CD insert thingy and put pretty Elphie and Galinda on it. And then I'll sing. La la la la...
I just have to order now.
