It's probably that way b/c Sept. 27th is at the end of the month so the publishing company says it's published in October.

yay, i am so excited, i can't wait to read it when it comes out! Wicked is the only book i have been able to finish by him so i look foward to the sequal

I hope it has more of Shell! But, about Liir, did he know Elphaba was his mother? I don't think he did. He knew Fiyero was his father though. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SEQUEL!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAH!!!!! WOOT!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! *gasp* Someone remind me to breathe... |

I always got the impression that he suspected Elphaba was his mother, but she never confirmed it and he wasn't particularly fond of the idea. As for Fiyero, other than that Fish thing, he's got nothing to prove that, so I doubt he's certain of it. Poor guy.

Yeah...he didn't know Elphaba was his mother, and she didn't really want to admit it, anyway, because it brought up Fiyero. And the only reason he knew Fiyero was his father was because the Carp said he and Nor had the same father...or something to that effect. |

Yeah, but by that point he'd pretty much only had women in his life (Elphaba, Sarima, the sisters, Nor, the maunts, etc.), so the desire for a father figure was understandable.

I cannot wait! When I first read an interview with Greg Maguire where he said that he was writing a sequel to Wicked, I seriously started hyperventilating and going nuts. I ran to the phone and called my Wicked-obsessed sister!! I'm soo excited!
