Heh, coming out of lurkdom to post this. (...I'm coming out, I want the world to kno--*record scratches* okay, no! We're not going there!) Yeah, the hands suck, I know. But if I said I was Navajo and purposefully messed them up so as not to become vain of my own work you'd believe me, right? ... Nah, I wouldn't either. ne way, this is supposed to be the moment Elphie walks into her...home, hideout? hole-in-the-wall? whatever--walks in and sees what could only be her love's blood staining the floor, aptly titled: "It All Ends Too Soon" and with that I'm going to go to bed. Yeah, cause when I'm not so bleary-eyed tomorrow...I'm gonna regret this decision, aren't I? So, hello all once again, I apologize for any grammer errors in advance as it is 12:30. Hope you like and art, and g'night.

Heck, I'm an artist-type too and can't draw hands unless I'm drawing a picture of a hand and the hand is the subject...well, that was refreshing. Anyway. I love the picture! You chose to portray a very emotional scene in the novel (and one other than love, might I add. Not that there's anything wrong with love). Keep it up! Did you ever consider coloring it in?

I love Elphaba's expression, it really captures the mood of the scene. And, I actually like the hands. They're not perfect, but I'd call them stylized, in a good way.
