Seriously, I am DYING waiting for Idina's new cd to come out. I can only hope that it will be available at the Gerswin and I won't have to go on some wild goose chase to get it. I have her first one and I love it. I swear I love the whole thing, it's amazing. Have you guys heard it?

Dude, Still I Can't Be Still has to be one of my most overplayed CDs, such a fantastic CD. Idina really surprised me with her vocals as well as her songwriting abilities. VERY impressed.
I admit to have listened to that little sound clip on her website over 30 times, and I'm so excited for this new album. A little impatient that it's being held off for so long, but then again all good things come to those who wait...I hope.

So what's your favorite song? Sometimes when I need inspiration or need to cry, I listen to Heart on My Sleeve. That song is amazing. I've also decided that I want Reach to be my wedding song. It's so beautiful. And of course Still describes me pretty well. Fool out of me just plain rocks and I adore All of the Above (although my roomie is like, Sar blatant sex song much? lol)
The whole cd just blows me away. I love Idina, she so rocks.

Yeah, I love Heart on My Sleeve, but my favorites have to be Still I Can't Be Still, Minuet, and that one part from 'All of the Above' where she sings all jazz-y right after she goes "I'll keep you guessing..." and right before "Well I couldn't imagine if I couldn't be myself..."

*wishes she had the CD* However, I didn't become a big Idina fan until after listening to the wicked CD, once, lol, so until recently I didn't know she had a CD. My mom knew of her before...

I don't have the CD yet- hoping to get it when I go to NY next week- but I've heard a couple of the songs and I love them! Does anyone know where "It Only Hurts When I Breathe" came from? It's one of my favs and it's not even on the CD! I've been praying that it will be on "Here." So is there any chance of Here coming out before the 19th of February? I thought it was going to be released last month. I wanted to get it in NY too, and save on the shipping from Amazon which is where I'll have to get it if I can't find it in NY!

I love "IOHWIB"! I have that and the whole set from... I think it was 2000. She has some really great songs that aren't out anywhere, but I have some live tracks from a gig she did at Joe's Pub. They're absolutely fantastic!
