It's a store...that has a website. It's somewhere between the Nederlander and The Gershie, on a street corner. You can't miss it. Big red neon letters. -gyps

K thanks. I'll probably be better off going to the website since I'm not gonna be going to NY anytime before I go see Wicked again.

Cause that's my space when she smuggles me away...even though I live in the same country as her...llam. But I would definately share the limited space with my Ama/ForumDaughter.

I bought Here yesterday at the Ozdust Boutique for 12 dollars. And I've listened to it at least 6 times.... it's terrific. Idina sounds incredible. Her song-writing talent is "unlimited!"

But I would definately share the limited space with my Ama/ForumDaughter. Well my family keeps telling me to go and not come back. And today my mom started saying things like "Monica's going to lose her wallet. Monica's going to lose all her money and be stuck in NewYork. Monica's gonna get mugged." GEE THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT MOM! Finally after my brothers told me they couldn't wait until I left I shouted back "I'm SO GLAD I'm going and I wish I WASN'T SOMING BACK!" So yeah if my room gets rented out while I'm gone I might have to stay in NY and live in Aly's closet with my ForumMommy ;D

I got it last night at the show (which was totally amazing as always) and listened to it in the car on the way home. My mom was like "I don't like it." I told her she didn't matter. LLAM. And everyone else pretty much agreed that they like Glinda more than Elphaba, except Lucy who agreed that Idina can definitely belt. When my mom's friend reffered to Idina's voice as "that screaming sort of singing" I nearly had a stroke. They don't understand...
Sa... who now owns a green monkey cause they were back at the show last night!

When my mom's friend reffered to Idina's voice as "that screaming sort of singing" I nearly had a stroke. They don't understand... Sa... who now owns a green monkey cause they were back at the show last night! My mom likes to complain about my music. She doesn't like The Indigo Girls - she thinks they're too gay. (how the hell can music be too gay?!) She doesn't like Rob Dougan - too morbid. She doesn't like Lamb - too much fake sounds. And she hates Portishead - too scary and depressing. So finally, when I think she's going to like Idina - "I don't like this...I don't know why, I just think her lyrics mean absolutely nothing." I got so mad at her. Why doesn't she just lie to me then? She knows how much I love Idina! Grrr. I'm so impatient for this CD. Once I get some money this week, I'm definately ordering it from Colony. ASAP! But congrats on your green monkey. Enjoy it. ^_^ -gyps

::gapes:: Your parents are freaks!!
The lyrics don't matter??? DON'T MATTER???? "If I Told You" is, like, my favorite song EVER cuz its soooo me. And "So Beautiful" is just the sweetest love song ever written. :: dies:: This is my new favorite CD. "Idina, If I Told You this album was So Beautiful would you sign it Here?" hehe!
And, uh, if they think she's "that screaming sort of singing" they should hear the original workshop reading. ::snort:: These songs apparently take a bit of practice to get quite right.

HAHA. I went to Barnes and Noble today and was like..."Hi, do you have 'Here' by Idina MenzeL?" and he goes "Ididna adina WHAT?" and i GO nice and slow "I-D-I-N-A" BREATH "M-E-N-Z-E-L." and it takes him 10 minutes to find out they don't have it. OH well. Until April, can someone make it into mp3s and send me it.
Ooo. Does anyone have still I can't be still on mp3. I want that cd but me have untrusting parents and no money (Just bought Lippa's Wilde Party and Side Show *cackle* Cds.)
