I opened up the Washington Post's style section this morning and under "What to watch on TV this weekend" they had a nice, big (black & white) picture of Cheno & Dee! From Wicked, the scene where they first see the big Wizard head and Elphie's like hugging Galinda to protect her, I suppose. TOMORROW!  |

It's funny... I think that picture is the standard one that ALL papers are using for promo. My local ones are, and I know of many, many others that are too. It's usually either that or the conjuring one from "No Good Deed."

In the Baltimore Sun it's a HUGE picture of Idina (No Good Deed). It takes up like two pages...it was waiting for me today when I got home!

Mwhahaha maybe I'll see if I can get a copy of the Baltimore Sun.  I'm such a dork, I woke up this morning and my first thought was "The Tonys are today!" and then I thought for a minute and I was like "11 hours!" llam now it's 7 hours and 30 minutes!! |

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! im not sure if anyone saw this one..or if this is the one you were talking about..but i was just going through my newspaper to see if there was anything on the Tonys...and in "Fanfare" the cover is a HUGE...and I mean HUGE...of Idina right when she gets into the air in Defying Gravity..its a really close up and I've NEVER seen this picture before!! and its really big..it takes up the ENTIRE cover!!!!! Then I turned a few pages to get to the article, and theres a picture of Kristin in the bubble and a few Ozians on the ground..again I've never seen this picture either!!
AHHHHHHHH im sooo excited! IM HANGING THEM ON MY WALL RIGHT NOW! Next to the other articles I found when they were first nominated!! ;D
EDIT: WOW IM FLIPPING OUT!! I turned a few more pages...and theres a picture of Idina and Kristin in the scene where they meet at Dorothys house!! I havent seen this picture either! Then below it is a picture of Joel Grey and Carole Shelley...and NEXT TO THAT is a picture of the Wicked costumes and Susan Hilferty..you have no clue how excited I am!!

Cool! Which paper is that? Now I want to see those pics! All day on CBS they've been showing commercials for the Tony's. And each time the commercial is up it's different video footage in the background. And each time there is something from Wicked. I am so excited now!

And Amy - I saw a commerical for the Tonys Friday night and they showed the 'One Short Day' clip...I was like 'AAAAH show more!!'

ya...i will definitely scan them as soon as I can..just the internet on my computer is broken..and my computer has the scanner so I wouldnt be able to scan them and post them because the internets broken..so im using the internet on my downstairs computer..which has no scanner...
llam not sure if that makes sense...but I will DEF post ASAP..as soon as my internet starts up again on my comp
and its I think in the Newsday section called "Fanfare"
