So far, I have 5 people lottoing on saturday just so me and my friend could have a chance at winning: none of the other three (mom, her mom, and my sister) really want to see it. But I want to see SEAN!!! He's my best friend, you know. Not for real, but we're buddies. Right Aly? -gyps

Sean McCourt is groovy. And he rocks in Bat Boy too.

Sean is better than Joel? Seriously? That's cool... I'll have to tell my friend who's seeing it this Saturday.

Oooo... Terrance Mann... is it really his kind of role, though? I could see him playing a Dillamond, but the part is FAR too small for someone of his Broadway name status... As for Joel... I've seen him all three times I've seen Wicked. I love him to pieces, but I think I'm ready to see someone else too...

Yeah, I'm seeing it tomorrow... without Joel. I'm kind of excited to see Sean play the Wizard, to get a new take on it.

I think it's hard to compare the two since they have different takes on the Wizard. Joel is a good deal older than Sean, so he brings a more wizened Wizard while Sean's is younger and more... is the word I'm looking for "unpredictable"??

Article was just put up at Playbill.com... www.playbill.com/news/article/86996.htmlSo yeah, Joel will be out. I'm ALSO betting he's going to be out when I see the show next week too. Bronchitis is brutal... I've had it several times in my life. Feel better soon, Joel!!

I've heard many wonderful things about Sean, and when I saw him last time he told me he was so excited because he loves being the Wizard (and coming in later). He's so happy, I'm so happy for him, and I hope Joel doesn't get back until tuesday or something. According to my great-aunt (who was friends with Joel Grey and his parents), he's also visiting his granddaughter in california. So maybe the plane will be delayed or something, Sean gets an extra day. Rock on! -gyps
