My parents left saying it was "funnier than the Producers" though my dad still won't admit that Norbert was funnier than John (not saying that John isn't funny! He's hilarious, but I still think Norbert stole the show)...And the Idina/Taye meeting was very ironic, but it was a very good sense of irony...lol

Agh, I saw Rent when I saaw 9. o_0 And I saw Avenue Q last year. My parents are obsessed with broadway, too, so they drag me to a lot of overage shows. I haven't seen Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, yet. I really want too!
Okay, everyone. In a vote between Bat Boy and DRS, which one would you go to see?

You saw Rent when you were nine?! Wow! lol, my parents don't really like hearing/seeing inappropriate things so this was a bit of a surprise, though they still loved it! I haven't seen Bat Boy, to tell you the truth, but I've heard a lot about it, and honestly I would definitly say DRS. Right now, I would say DRS over anything, though maybe not Wicked...lol, anyways, SO funny, and the cast now is AMAZING! My favorites were (if I HAD to choose) Norbert and Joanna (who was sooo good! She did wonderful in every scene she was in!).

Ah, I can't wait!!!! I want to meet Norbert!!! lol Oh, btw, is he nice? Because I know I'm going to be talking gibberish around him and the other cast members...lol. I'll hardly be able to get out "You rock!" without them looking at me as if I was a- I don't even know. Lol, you should have seen me with Sutton Foster. Our convo: Me: You were amazing! Sutton: Thank you so much! Thanks for coming to see the show! Me: .... Sutton: Err-thanks. Me:Thank you! lol, I was sooo weird. But me and my friends got an awesome pic with her. And she was too nice, because it was like 0 degrees (no joke) and she was nice enough to be siging autographs, and dealing with loons like me. And she had no gloves!!! SHe is too kind I rember that!!! It was too awesome!I couldn't speak either I really wish I could've come up something wittier than "you were really amazing" Oh well

Ah, I love DRS; I'm trying to talk my friends into seeing it with me. ^_^ Although I did nearly rand headlong into Jeff Goldblum - never be late, ever, and decide "Oh, maybe I should take the shortcut through Shubert Alley; no one will be there." Stupid me. But I seriously believe Norbert deserves a Tony, or at least a Tony nod for this. He's amazing.

I think DRS recieved 11 nominations in all. I haven't seen it, but from what you have said it sounds amazing. So congrats Norbert and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! ;D

Is there any big shocking ending to DRS? I know the ending to the movie (I saw it comming but only after putting two and two together and getting five) but does the musical have a different ending like with the Stepford Wives remake?

I haven't seen the show, but according to the synopsis with the OBCR, it's the same ending. They changed a couple of names and nationalities, but otherwise, yeah.

Yeah, its the same ending. I hadn't seen the movie beforehand, and I gotta say I'm sort of glad I didn't because the ending was more enjoyable as a surprise. My parents had seen the movie and said it was a bit disappointing since they knew the ending (they didn't think the show was disapointing, just a note but that the ending was the same)
