Favorite moments?

That scene that you mentioned Amy (My computer isn't letting me change color for a spoiler today) is really cool, yet creepy at the same time. I'll have to listen for it when I go the next time. Oooh.

I've become especially fond of the song 'Wicked witch of the East', especially at the end of the song when (spoiler) Nessa sings about how Elphaba has to save Boq, and Elphaba joins in singing a spell that harmonizes amazingly. Wowza... That gives me the shivers when I listen to it. My other favs are!
-Any Yero/Elphie moments.
-When Elphaba defys gravity.
-The scene right before I'm Not that Girl
-Dancing through life dance scene. Period.
-Elphaba saying she never ate grass as a child.
-The finale, and how (spoiler)Elphabas and voices blend on the reprise of 'For Good'
-Fiyero saying Elphaba has been Glinda-fied.

Ahhh, who am I kidding. I love it all... *happy sigh*

In Defying Gravity, Madame Morrible's speech: "Citizens of Oz. There is an enemey who must be found and captured. Believe nothing she says. She's evil, responsible for the mutilation of these poor, innocent monkeys. Her skin (_____________--can't understand hehehe) story of her twisted nature. This distortion. This repulsion. This WICKED WITCH!" freaks me out so much. I cry every time! It's so mean and awful and it's not even her fault!

Haha...I LOVEEEE that speech. Its "Her green skin is but an outer manefestorium of her twisted nature"....LOVE that part. Carole Shelley is awesome.

Oh, you are all soo right! There are so many great moments…here are a few of my favorites:

-When Elphie is like, “She has nothing to do with this, it’s me you want…it’s me…IT’S ME!”…I get chills just thinking about it!

-When Fiyero is finishing his big long beginning of DTL and he’s like, “Dancing….through LIIIIIFE!” He did this really nice grace note at my show…amazing!

-When Yero and Elphie are setting the cub free and he tries to leave and she grabs his hand and they just stand there…ohh!

-Kristen and Idina’s “FIYERO”’s at the beginning of “No Good Deed.”

-Both Boq and Yero’s…ahem…transformations!

-Right after Popular when they are back in Dr. Dillamond’s room and Fiyero is like, “You’ve been Galindafied…you don’t need to do that!”

(Yeah, I’m totally a Fiyero/Elphie person)

-Of course, when Glinda starts to cry at the end of her verse of “For Good.”

-Pretty much ANY time Idina belts it out!

-Elphie’s “ugh” when she closes the Grimmerie during “No Good Deed”

Oy…such an awesome show.

During the finale, when Fiyero comes to get Elphaba after she "melts", gives me chills everytime! Even when I lsiten to the finale, i get chills...and not to mention at every other part mentioned here!

oh..and when elphie and glinda slap eachother..thats a good time.

as for favorite moments, i love the whole thing theres not a thing to not like in that show. and to the other question, hmm.

the part where carole shelley says this wicked witch make me shiver

for good to elphies death makes me cry, like so much so that even when kristin turns on full waterworks, im still crying just as hard or harder than her!

when kristin says i will now try to be (pause) glinda the good i always whisper the line with her and then burst into tears again.

i think thats it!!

Ah, the entire show is just one big moment for me. These all have probably been listed already by now, but whatever.

-When Kristin comes down in her bubble & says the opening line. The audience just loves it.
-I personally love Elphie's entrance, when she runs in all flustered and excited.
-The whole beginning Shiz scene w. Elphie, Morrible, Galinda, Nessa & co.
-"I'm Not That Girl" just fills my eyes with tears. I wanna give Elphie a hug! Ditto to the whole Ozdust Ballroom scene w. Elphie dancing alone.
-Defying Gravity & No good deed. Need I say more?
-As Long As Your Mine is so awesome & the catfight as well. GO ELPHABA!
-For Good is so freaking sad! I cry every time.

Oy vey...I JUST LOVE THIS SHOW! 6 DAYS!

i saw the show last nite and i just loved everything!!

-i liked when glinda came down in the bubble
-the whole entire scene of Popular..it was hysterical!
-when fiyero enters..was that before or after popular?? i have a bad memory..so i better see it again soon!
-end of Defying Gravity
-Catfight scene
-when fiyero cames *as a scarecrow and gets Elphaba*

but i really enjoyed the ENTIRE show!!

After Elphie melted and Glinda's just standing there in shock her timid and scared "Elphie?" is just so sad - also when she walks over to the hat, picks it up and starts to sob..

Also, in the beginning, when the Ozians are singing "No mourns the wicked, no one cries they won't return", etc. and Glinda's up on her bubble, she looks like she wants to bawl her eyes out. So sad, and I wouldn't have noticed unless I was watching for it.
