i just realized i never posted in this and i was just reviewing all my favorites parts of the show earlier today..sry if someone said any of them already
-When Elphie flies up in Defying Gravity...wow and when Idina is belting...OH MY GOD
-I love Elphie's whole startled entrance to Shiz..I especially love her "What, what're you all staring at" line
-I love when Glinda enters on top of all the suitcases in that cart thing with all the students around her..haha that cracks me up
-POPULAR..wow that whole number makes me laugh till i cry
-The catfight scene..who doesnt love this one?
-When Elphie comes out in the beginning of No Good Deed, wow that part is so intense and she looks so wicked..oh my god its amazing..my mouth just like dropped open when she came up and sang/called "Fiyero"
-The "every little trait however small" part in "What is This Feeling"...whoever thought of the idea to have Elphie make that motion was very clever! llam
-When Elphie finds out about how the wizard planned for her to put that spell on the monkeys..Idina's expressions are so powerful, I want to jump onto the stage and tell her its not her fault! llam
-The part where Nessa blames Elphie for what happened to Boq..i dont know why i like this part but i feel so bad and i have a strong urge to hug Elphie here!
also in this same scene when Elphie i think comes out of the closet/mirror thing [sry i cant remember what it is] after having "disappeared" and startles Nessa...do you know what im talking about? llam
-Oh I almost forget! When Fiyero comes out lieing down in that carriage thing with the sunglasses on..ahh he look sooo gorgeous!!
-Also the whole ending with For Good...from that song on its just amazing
wow..what part dont i like??? haha the whole show is incredible..ahh sry i was just in the mood to talk about my favorite scenes!

Wow, I just remembered this one, which is really pathetic, because I've seen it three times, llam.
I love this moment, during "Defying Gravity" when Elphaba says "It's not her you want... IT'S MEEEEEE!" and then she starts to go up. Wow, I am getting chills just thinking about it! Llam.
Edit: Just to clear up, I didn't forget that she flies, llam, how could you forget something like that. I meant the whole, "IT'S MEEEE" part.

oo i love reading threads that i havent b4...
soo here are some of the moments i love.. and of course we all love the whole show..
even though some of them have been repeated
- " thiiiis wicked witccchh" wow-- when she said that ..the theatre was dead silent.. i know my jaw was dropped and i couldnt believe it...
- DTL.. Boqs little dancing by himself... its soo cute
- the wait just a clock tick" moment.. and also all of " no on believed in you more than i did" ... love these moments...
- all the emotions from For good until the end of the show.. wow... *hands out tissues*

I love when Elphaba finds Dr. D on the floor after the monkeys go free and how she goes, "The two of us have NOTHING in common. I am nothing like you, and I will fight you til the day I die!"
The 'fight you til the day I die!' part is really my favorite, how the orchestra starts and the Wizard goes behind his little head and all that...gives me chills.
(Is the quote right? I'm not sure.)

I agree....so much of the awesomeness of that line is in her delivery. oooh...gives me chills. "We have NOTHING in common....and I will fight you till the day I DIE!"
I also love her delivery when she says "he never belonged to you, he doesn't love you, he loves ME!"

Spoiler: * I knew every secret in the show before I saw it except one, which I called "how Elphie is able to be melted." When For Good ended, I was near tears and then I watched in horror as Elphie melted behind the curtain. And then I nearly burst into to tears again as Glinda said, "Elphie?" and began to draw back the curtain and the finale came. Then Fiyero came out and held the hat... and I was in complete shock as Elphie climbed out of the stage! My friend told me she will never, ever forget the look on my face when that happened. * me 2! omg i knew about everything but that! i freaked out when that happened i was like YAY! but my favorite FAVORITE moment is "let the green girl go!" lmao i just think about and start cracking up ;D |

all of what is this feeling is really special to me i'm singing it with a friend of mine so it's great to see how dee and jlt did it.
for good is going to make me cry when i see the show i promise everyone that
as long as your mine hits pretty close i know just what it's like to want something you can't have...

When Idina goes into the last notes of W&I, Defying Gravity, and No Good Deed!
When Glinda and Elphie meet after Elphie and Fiyero sing As long as You're mine!
In the begginging when everyone is singing "Wicked..wicked...WICKED!!!!" Elphaba's shadow is in the backroung moving. I'ts sooo cool!
In the end where Elphaba commes out of the trap door! I cry!

I'm just like everyone else. ::smile:: It's impossible to have one particular favorite part in the entire musical. I've only seen it once, but that opportunity was a blessing. The theatre department at my school traveled to NYC during Memorial Day weekend where we saw "Wicked" and "Aida" and toured the city. We saw "Wicked" the first night we arrived there.
I love the end of W&I, when Elphie sung her last note in DG and the stage & house went completely black, there was a moment of silence; my heart skipped a beat, my breath was caught in my chest and my eyes teared up. It was the most incredible feeling in my life...I knew from that moment on that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life...My love for the characters, the music and the story itself rapidly grew as the show progressed. When I listen to the soundtrack, I still get chills...The last moment that G(a)linda and Elphie share together in FG, my best friend and I were holding eachother, tears streaming down our cheeks. The thought of separating is too painful to think about. To this very day, we still role play as if she's G(a)linda and I'm Elphaba. It's because of Kristen & Idina that we want to pursue our dreams.
