Fantasia. Is. Frickin. Amazing. Diana was incredible, but come on, Fantasia is da shiz. That last song was.... beyond words. I haven't been that choked up over a song since the first time I heard For Good.

Congrats to Fantasia! ;D I'm glad someone with SOME talent won this year... it was looking really sketchy for a while there. Diana is really great too... I just think she needs a little more time to develop. Diana's only 16, afterall. I was almost afraid that, if she won, she'd blow out her vocal chords. She has a great belt, don't get me wrong... I just think if she had won, she'd start pushing things too far in the name of impressing everyone... which could do permanent damage.

i totally agree. im happy that fantasia won..and diana also has amazing talent. she'll definitely have a veryyy successful career ahead of her. i like the song that fantasia sang after she won...does anyone know what its called? i think its going to be like her 'signature' song...like when kelly clarkson won her's was 'a moment like this'....and ruben's was 'flying without wings'...etc.

It's called "I Believe" and yeah, it will probably be her sig song. I think it's perfect for her. But I really really want her to record Summertime as well!!!

No offense to Fantasia fans, but she didn't deserve to win. Her voice is just...*shudders* horrible. Everytime she tries to belt, her voice gets all raspy and my ears physically hurt. No joke. And she always seemed to think she was the best on the show. LaToya or Diana should be the American Idol. Now THEY have talent. And Diana's only 16. To have that much talent at that young age...well it's pretty phenominal. Well, we all saw what happened last year. When Clay deserved to win, but Ruben did anyway. But who's had more success? Clay. The runner up. So here's hoping Diana will have a successful music career!

I think people are "in" to Fantasia's voice because, well... she has more than a passing vocal resemblence to Macy Gray..

Personally I didn't like Macy Gray's voice and thats a reason why I don't care for Fantasia.. My idol was Latoya and of course I love JPL!!

I wanted Constantine to win!1)Pretty rocker boy (what's not to love?),2)Best voice (BETTER than Bo and Carrie),3)He was in RENT (I like a guy who does musicals...),4)He has good stage presence
I love that man so much...
And now ends my senseless ramblings about Stan the Broadway Man (see?he even has a nickname form me (and my beautiful friends)!)...
But,I thought Bo wasn't very professional.And he's a coke addict.Just...no.No.

I wanted Constantine to win!1)Pretty rocker boy (what's not to love?) The "Rocker" part. (I don't like rock and roll ) And guys shouldn't be pretty. ;D 2)Best voice (BETTER than Bo and Carrie) That's a matter of opinion... I prefer Carrie's voice over Constantine. 3)He was in RENT (I like a guy who does musicals...) Which, technically, should have disqualified him from the competition, since he's already professional. I didn't much like Constantine...

Note:I am not trying to fight,I'm just a girl who is really debative (is that a word?I dunno, but it should be one!)
1)Guys can be pretty! To me,that is a good thing (just be thankful I didn't write 'purdy' or I'd raise a controversy over my lovely southern accent...) (is my brainless alter ego showing?).
2)I'm just not a big fan of Carrie or many of the others.Stan (as we're gonna call him)
3)You have to admit, though.Stan did have an absolutely kick-butt rendition of "I Think I Love You".
4)I'm a giddy 13-year-old.Don't take my words on the rocker guys seriously (especially the cute ones)!
5)He probably should have been disqualified. But,shouldn't they count criminal offenses as disqualification too (aka Bo on crack and Scott comitting violence)?Just a thought.Tryin to to spark any controversy or anything.

1) I was just kidding ;-) 2) As I said, it's just a matter of opinion, your taste in music, etc. I know people who think Idina screeches and Kristin is nasally when singing high, so ya know... 3) I don't think I saw Stan sing "I Think I Love You" 4) Point taken. ;-) 5) Yeah, I agree that criminal offenses call for disqualification as well.
