I think they shoulda filmed like they filmed Lord of the Rings..like all in a row so the actors wouldnt outgrow their characters..that would be so hard tho especially since all the books arent out..
Emma is 5 days older than me yay!! lol
was anyone else sad that Oliver Wood wasnt in this movie?? lol
Did anyone catch the Titanic part when Harry is on Buckbeat over the lake and he like spreads his arms like Jack in Titanic..i started cracking up and someone screamed out "IM KING OF THE WORLD" it was so funny..

Emma Watson actually turned 14 recently. I cant believe your dad thought she was 17! if she was, she would be able to drive the weasleys car llam. i think tom felton (malfoy) is more like 17. because if emmas 14, dans 15, and ruperts 16. so, tom feltons, probably 17, i think.

Dan turns 15 in July, the 23rd. And they are filming them right in a row! It's just that it takes so long to film (child labor laws and such) that they become older as they film them. They are currently making the next movie as we speak.

Rupert Grint is 15. His bday's the same as mine. (Aug. 24) Year he was born: 1988. I never realized they had such age differences! It's kind of weird if you think about it. They are all in the same grade, but with different ages. So, it's kind of like Draco was held back! Hehe. Tom's bday is in Sept. (22nd I think) and he will be 17 b/c he was born in 1987. Emma was born in 1990, so she's the youngest of the bunch.

I thought Harry Potter's birthday was June 30th... not Dan, the actual book character Harry Potter. I remember it from one of the books. I could be wrong though.

You're right. Harry's bday and Dan's bday are 2 different days. I think Harry's is July 30, and as Amy said Dan's is July 23. If I'm wrong about Harry's bday, all I know is that it's at the end of either June or July.

1980? That means when he enters Hogwarts for the first time, it's 1991? Hmm... I always envisioned it to be when JK Rowling wrote the book, in like 1999 or something. Dear Oz this is confusifying.

Wow that means Harry's older than me! I like it I always felt kinda childish reading the series but now that Harry is actually... 24, I don't feel so old! Hee hee hee. I saw Movie #3 on Monday night. Like the previous movies, I had mixed feelings about it. As a friend pointed out to me, the movies are surprisingly similar to the books. Or as I like to think of it, the scenes that they INCLUDE in the movies are surprisingly similar to the books. I still get really peeved at the stuff that the movies leave out. Like Sirius sneaking into the castle at Christmas to leave the broom. And the cat's huge role (in the book, Black actually tells Harry the cat was working for him!) And I hated how they totally skipped the scene where Harry is told WHY he could conjure up that particular Patronus. But the missing info that made me super ticked was that they didn't mention about WHO MADE THE MAP. That really sucked. It should've been in there. But of course, as people keep telling me, if it followed the book exactly, the movie would be ten hours long. So I'll say that the parts that were included were great. The whole Time-turner thing was really mag. And Buckbeak was kewl. But there was no Sean Biggerstaff, so I could never say that I liked the movie

LOL! No amazingly hot Oliver Wood... *pouts* but Harry (err... Dan lol) is becoming VERY cute!
Wait... maybe I'm just being a scarecrow type person here (aka brainless lol) but didn't Gryffindor win the Quidditch cup in the third book? And it was like a major event? Well... was it in the movie? LLAM, I saw the movie and I can't even remember... seriously, I'm like going senile here. Anyone know?

And I was sooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to seeing some of it portrayed on screen. But once it was announced that Sean Biggerstaff wouldn't even be in the third movie, I lost all hope of that happening. But that's another MAJOR qualm about the movie. I'd almost forgotten. Thanks for making me even more upset about it, Layla! llam Also, does anyone think that the book-Ron is sooooooooooooooo much better than wimpy-ass Movie Ron? Seems like all he does on screen is whine!

Ahhh sorry Monica! *cries* But there was no Quidditch Cup! It saddened me, it really did!
OMG! I was thinking the same thing. Movie Ron bothered me. And his hair bothers me. He needs a haircut, lol. In the book they describe Ron as "gangly, freckled, tall" but the movie Ron has a babyface! Whats up with that??

okay, here's another hair complaint:
WHAT IS UP WITH DRACO'S NEW DO?? I loved the old, slicked-back, widow's-peaked cuaffer! (confession: i actually did my hair like that in 6th grade for like, a week b/c i was so obsessed w/ harry potter. all my friends were dressing like characters so it was really cool)
