i know we all have wicked moments during the day, but what about broadway ones in general?
today i was at work and i was putting out paint pens, and the ones i was putting out were called "fine line", so of course, i started singing "fine fine line" from avenue q.
what about you guys?

I saw Two Brothers last night and completely freaked when I realized that the little boy was named Raoul. (That's the name of the lead guy [besides the Phantom] in Phantom of the Opera.)

Oh my Oz, that was the most boring movie in the world...*falls asleep* Anyway, this happened yesterday. I was sitting on the couch and I changed the channel and my brother got mad at me and so he lunged at me and I stuck my leg out and he ran into it and told my mom, who came in and goes "Grant! Why did you do that to your brother?!" and I just sang "He had it comin', He had it comin'..."

My mom gave my dad some really hot green chili (she didn't know it was that hot) and when he couldn't handle it, she started singing "some guys just can't hold their arsenic." That's my mom's favorite part in Chicago .

"some guys just can't hold their arsenic." That's one of my favorite lines too! I love all of the little monologues in Cell Block Tango (except the one in Russian or whatever it is b/c I don't know what she's saying besides "Ah-ah" and "Not Guilty" lol)

Today I went to Old Navy and bought pajama pants solely because they said "Brooklyn" on them and I am already obsessed with the new musical, Brooklyn, which doesn't even start until September 23rd. My mom was like, "They're ugly! You don't need them!" I was like, "They say Brooklyn! Yes I do!"

I was sitting in Ethics and my teacher said that not all killing is murder, and it's murder when the victim is innocent. This made me think of Chicago and how the victims there weren't innocent. Then I had the Cell Block Tango going through my head. "He had it coming..."

Today, my Science teacher threw a ball up in the air and said, "Whatever comes up must come down. That is the effect that gravity has... yada yada yada" So my best friend and I start humming DG at the same exact time. It was a wicked cool moment. Literally.

I was reading one of my textbooks and they mentioned Jack Paar, the comedien and that got "Feed Me (Git it)" from Little Shop going through my head. (How'd you like a Cadillac car, or a guest shot on Jack Paar)

Today we were talking about some of the themes for Of Mice and Men and one of them was racism. And we were talking about it and someone was like, "I think it's okay to be racist..." which was really weird and everyone got a little scared of that person and then I raised my hand and went "Actually, I don't think it's okay at all to be racist...but then again, everyone's a little racist." Yeah, that was my Avenue Q moment of the day -- in fact, my first ever Q moment. Probably my last too, haha. Sorry, but I don't like Avenue Q. But my friend is making me get the CD just in case haha.
Oh and in theater, we were talking about story-telling and we all got to make up a story and mine was about a girl who lived in a very underdeveloped village and each month they would send one person out of the village with a special gift or talent, and the Head Villagers decided that the girl "deserved the chance to fly" haha. Little Wicked moment. Ooh, I had another Wicked moment too.
In Communications (aka English, Language Arts) my teacher, who reminds me of Cheno (!!) was talking about what she calls "Pretty Pens" -- those really skinny Sharpies. She's obsessed, but anyways. She was talking about how she had lent the pink one to someone to use and they broke the tip and she was like "They broke the pink one -- the prettiest one! But, I actually like green better. No one really likes green. But I do!" and I was like "LIKE NO ONE LIKES ELPHIE!!!"
Yep, I have a lot of Broadway moments, even if they aren't intentional.
