Our teacher asked us once how many minutes were there in a year,so I lrched up me hand and gave the right answer!!!Then Seasons of Love was stuck in me head.
In violin, our sub thought we knoew nothing,so she was telling us what intervals go with the begining of different songs, and for a sharped 7th,she said this one song in West Side Story.

We have to do that in choir and three of our songs are West Side Story. Tritone is Cool, a seventh is Maria, and 7 1/2 is Somewhere. Also, perfect octave is Over the Rainbow (but I use Unlimited to remember it).

perfect octave is Over the Rainbow (but I use Unlimited to remember it). yeah I just heared today that Stephen Schwartz did that as a tribute to WoO, the unlimited is really just somewhere over the rainbow with different rythems..... ah, intervals....... I had to do that in like 3rd grade....... they come in handy! ok, so in physics today my teacher was talking about different ways to defy gravity, and he turns around and sais....... ok, i think thats all the ways- unless i forgot one........ and my entire class is made up of wicked fans, so i say..... "well, you could always just grab a broom..... or jump in a bubble".......... he was very confused.... but we all thought it was funny
