Haha, this is like, way early, but I love planning my Halloween costumes in like, June. So what is everyone gonna be? I'm sure there'll be a few Wicked characters, of course (I for one have two possibilities on the list...) and some other great ones to. So far, here's what I have:
- School boy (uniform, books, etc.)
- Boy Band Member
- Fiyero (of course haha)
- Boq (again, of course)
- Hollywood Golden Boy
Me and a ton of my friends are having a big Halloween party (the fifth annual) and we want to go as a big group of characters that go together, so here is our "Group Ideas" list:
- Wicked characters haha
- One/Two member(s) each from a different clique
- Prep School Kids
- Spolied rich kids from Bel Air
- Struggling NYC Actors (haha this was a favorite)
So just share your thoughts about my ideas, your ideas, his ideas, her ideas, etc etc. I love talking about all the different costumes. And if this thread flops until about mid-October, at least it'll be out there!

well i'm dressing as my idol:
james dean
i've been studying his speech and his gestures and his habit.
i view this as an excercise in acting, i guess. haha
so, sry, but no wicked theme costume for me.
although.... i think fellowozian was planning something... fun!

Me and my best friend Monika are being Glinda and Elphaba but we are afraid that at every single house people will be like "OH and who are you two supposed to be?" and we will have to be like "We are Elphaba and Glinda from the wonderful Broadway musical Wicked, please take the time to go to NYC for a few hours and see this wonderful show" he he so we might sadly have to change the idea to Barbie and friend
and oh What should our costumes for Elphaba and Glinda be?

ALittleWicked...for costumes, I'd just do the regular Galinda: Pink dress/outfit, blonde wig with pink flower and for Elphie: black frock, black wig, the hat and of course, lots of green make-up lol. good luck with that!
My friend Lizzie gave me another idea that I really like: Abercrombie model, but one who wears clothes haha. I could probably take a picture of me posing like a model in my costume and then make it look like a catalog cover and glue it to a magazine.

I've been the Wicked Witch every year since I was ten, so it's not really a new thing for me (I dress up for work, not to actually trick or treat, cuz that would be creepy  ) but this year I have to actually go buy new green makeup cuz my mom threw out all my old stuff  And this year I can wear my Wicked shirt so I'll be even more authentic |

If you're asking me, it's from my secret hush-hush Wicture sorce (HAHA GET IT?! wicked + picture = wicture) I just thought of that and I feel so darn clever. And I've narrowed down my ideas to: - Fiyero - Abercrombie Model - Hollywood "Golden Boy" Tell me what you think is best (I'm geussing Fiyero will be up there...) haha |

Haha. Well, I believe Fiyero is the pop-uu-lar vote. So which costume should I do? I'm thinking of his first costume -- white knickers, white shirt, red vest, etc. But if you have a better idea, tell me!

Well, the last costume * Scarecrow * would be the easiest recognized - otherwise you have to stop and explain to everyone who you are.

If you're handy with crafts and junk, you could make his Gale Force outfit, cause it'll have the Yellow Brick road on it to make you recognizable. Or something.

Or I could just get a gray-green shirt and brown pants and carry a lantern haha. Yeah, the last costume would be most recognizable, but * I don't necessarily want to be the Scarecrow*. Yeah, I think the first costume would be easiest. My mom can just make it.  |

Well, I too have been planning my Halloween costume for quite sometime now, and I do believe that this year I will be......(drum roll please)
Elphie!!
I haven't dressed up for Halloween since 8th grade and for the past three years all I have done on Halloween is sat at home feeling depressed and eating all of the candy the snotty tricker-treaters did not gobble up. So this year will be amazing!!! I am really looking forward to it...
And I am doing it full out - green makeup, black frock, black boots, hat, broomstick, since I want to imitate the defying gravity scene as best as possible.....I am soo thrilled! I just need to recruit me a Glinda....hmm....I will be flying high searching for one in the meantime!
