The Catfight:
After Nessarose's death-by-house, Elphaba and Glinda meet and proceed to toss insults at each other. Glinda makes a comment about Elphaba's broom to which Elphaba responds "well we can't call come and go by bubble" and then goes on asking if it was the Wizard's idea but if it wasn't he'd probably just take credit for it anyway. Glinda then bites back accusing that alot of people are "taking things that don't belong to them" refering to Fiyero who ran out on Glinda for Elphaba just before INTG(r)/ALAYM. Elphaba then tells Glinda to "Wait just a clock tick. I know it may be hard for that blonde brain of yours to understand that someone like him could love someone like me but it's happened! It's real! He never loved to you and he never did. He loves me!" (something along those lines, I haven't seen the show in about a month so you'll have to forgive any misquotes.) Glinda then smacks Elphaba who cackles and asks if she felt better. Glinda says yes and Elphaba smacks her back. "Good. So do I." They break out into a 'catfight' which is then broken up by the Gale Force and then Fiyero.

It's freaking hilarious. Esp when Glinda takes off Elphie's hat and starts whacking her with it. Plus the line "let me go, I almost had her". That whole show made me laugh so much more than I was expecting to.

It's a very interesting prospect, really. I've heard things saying they were very close. And didn't Idina thank Kristin in her Tony acceptance speech last year?
