Obsessions, Part the 4th

-When you plan to tape the Tonys on two different TVs in case the first one messes up.
-When you have to stop listening to the CD for the month before you see it again, so it will feel brand new
-When you are getting your picture taken, and one of the ladies there has seen Wicked, so you wind up ruining a whole bunch of pictures because you are talking to her instead of looking at the camera.
-When you create one of those rip off the pages countdowns to Wicked and put it up on your wall. And then everytime you pass it, you smile because you are so proud of your handiwork and so excited about the show. ;D

a few..ok maybe a little more than a few obsessions/wicked moments i had..

-On my final for global it was a DBQ...and on one of the documents, it said the people were "wickedly" or something like that..and i couldnt concentrate for like 5 minutes after that because everytime i read the document i was thinking about wicked..i would have announced it to the class but considering it was a final, i thought that was a bad idea..llam..so instead i just circled it a million times

-you know your obsessed when on a desk in your class it has "I <3 KC" and you start flipping out that someone in your school loves Kristin Chenoweth! [hah..actually it was just someone else with the initials most likely..but you dont care because the initials are KC..and that automatically means Kristin to you] llam..yes..a little odd

-when you have to give someone a 5 minute lecture because they tell you they gave up Wicked tickets to go to a Yankee Game..I told them it was the worst decision they'd ever make...A YANKEE GAME FOR WICKED? i think not..

-when a guy in your class asks you and your friend [caitlinda4l] why youre so obsessed with wicked and why you have to go see it so many more times...hes like "its not real..its just a storyline..you see it and thats it..you know the story..your done..why do you have to see it again?" and you answer that Wicked is "a way of life" and for the 2nd time in 1 day you have to give a lecture on why Wicked rocks..llam

Urgh I hate having to explain my Wicked obsession to people! My friend is like, "It's just a SHOW... it's not real!" I wanted to friggen slap her but thankfully I held back. Especially people at my school, who think Broadway is for "losers"... ::is annoyed::

Well....when you're in Australia and you consider 'Wicked' to be one
of the best musicals soundtracks you own, even though you haven't seen the show yet. When Cheno's the only one from Broadway who has replied to your fanmail, being further away....and when you buy the new edition book.
ugh i hate when people say Broadway is for losers. Most Broadway songs have great meaning to them.....

When your in 9th period and one of your friends says to my teacher..I think you should go out with Idina Menzel, the star of Wicked (even tho my friend knew she is married to the wonderful Taye Diggs). He says sure..I'm free introduce me to her..He's such a kidder..

But anyway..later in the period..courtney annouces to everyone that the Tony's are on Sunday..so my teacher goes..Is Wicked gonna be on it!?! (as a joke) and we're like yeah! and hes like ok then i get to know what me new girlfriend will look like...We're like..shes the green one!

Yes, my teacher is unusally and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe!

yea..wow it was soo funny...but also it was: a] a little embarrassing that she actually asked him in the middle of class! b] IDINA IS MARRIED!!! HELLO! i started flipping out telling him and our friend that Idina was married! Wicked obsession du jour... I was at a shoe store with my friends, who just saw Wicked with me on Tuesday and are newly obsessed. Every single shoe that was green and/or pink was declared as WICKED SHOES and therefore extremely cool!!! I bought a pair of really cool sandals, they are black with green, pink, and white polka dots! llam they are my Wicked shoes! We were causing a huge commotion in the score, screaming and yelling as such.

Ya a lot of posts back I posted a Wicked moment and I tried posting in the "Wicked moments" thread but it wouldnt let me..I tried over and over again but it wouldnt work so I just started posting it in here..I wasnt sure if I should start a new one or not...

you know your obsessed when you almost memorize the whole broadway.com opening night wicked video and you feel the need to act out the part that cheno is being interviewed 1000 times "but when it comes time for us to be together..we are TOGETHER" hah me and cait do were doing it all day..cait sounded EXACTLY like cheno..i wish i could videotape it so all you guys could hear! heh...also the part where Winnie Holzman says "its such a kick ass heh premise" we start cracking up..she sort of annoys me when she says that...llam...do you guys know what video im talking about?

You know you're obsessed with wicked when you are ur friend (courtney llam) are walking through the halls of ur school singing 'for good' at the top of your lungs and a random girl comes up to you and says 'i thought i was the only one who likes wicked around here!' it was so great because we thought that the whole school is like anti-wicked but we finally found another obsessor...slc! llam

I did that too! Like I memorized what order all the songs came in and what everyone said... I love that video!
