Same here... I was talking about Wicked in one of my journals and my friend posted, "So how many times have you seen the show now? 43? 100?" LLAM.

You know you're obsessed when your CD skips...yes, it skips! ARGH! During "For Good" too, during Kristin's first part... it sounds like this: "Well IdunnoIlieveats true. But I know I'm who I am today, because I knew you."
And then it skips somewhere later on....it changes every time I play it.

That's why I have about 5 difrerent burned copies and have it saved on my comp at home and for school. It will not ever go away! Plus, I have a list of cd's to buy when I get my first paycheck. Antoehr copy of Wicked, The Last 5 Years (b/c of Norbert), Idina's two cds, and Cheno's. Good luck on the skipping. I feel that pain. I scream if it happens.

When you are in public places and you notice people you don't even know wearing Wicked merchandize and you run up to them and start screaming in their faces about wicked and then you get into a 4 hour conversation about it...welcome to my life

...when you have a half-hour discussion with your director about Wicked after the electricity went out in the middle of a storm and everyone else had gone home and you were waiting for your parents. (The electricity went out during Phantom of the Opera of all songs).
...when you and your friend seize the prop mops (not even brooms - mops) and start singing the end of Defying Gravity.
...when you and your friend take turns wheeling yourself around in the prop wheelchair.
...when you act out the Elphaba-making-Nessa's-chair-spin scene with the wheelchair.

-when your family sees "Shrek 2" and during the part when all the bubbles start surrounding fiona's castle and the fairy godmother comes down in a bubble your family (including a little brother who hates musical theatre)shrieks in a very loud whisper "Cheno!"

-When, at rehearsal for Peter Pan, you and your friends (I MADE A NEW WICKED OBSESSED FRIEND IN THE CAST!!) replace all the songs in the show with songs from Wicked
-When, also at rehearsal, you find a platform with wheels (used to move around chairs) and you have your friend stack boxes on it and then push you around while sitting on the boxes and sing "Dear Old Shiz"
-Again at rehearsal you find yourself saying your lines like Cheno in front of everyone and then squealing like Cheno during a chase scene.
*As you can see I have lots of Wicked related moments at rehearsal*

-when your mom buys a broom at Target and you grab it and pretend to be elphie and mouth "defying gravity' while you pretend to fly. LOL, i think I alarmed some shoppers there...haha.

you know im obsessed when
-you talk something about wicked 257
-your wmp color is green ( green was always my fav color already..llam)
-listen to the music constantly
-always hear wicked things in other peoples conversations and then you laugh becuase it reminds you of wicked
- have your toenails painted "emerald green" and thats the actual color of it too llam
- you have oh um... bout 35 away messages... arranged like this *w-(song #)-then title of away or whether its dialogue or not
- know ALOT about the show.. and that everyone thinks youve seen it at least 10 times.. when youve seen it twice
- you flip out when in a conversation.. you find out that they know people that has to do with wicked.. or have met people....basically you flip out easily when someone mentions wicked
- do 3 final projects for chorus from wicked and you dress up and make a big tah-do about it..
- you wanna have a "Wicked theme" bday party llam
oh and the list goes on..

You know your obsessed when some of your family comes in from Florida..and you make them sit around the computer and watch like 100 different clips of Wicked...like the David Letterman "Defying Gravity" one in which there are no words to describe how amazing Idina is...and your mom tells everyone that the girl in the green is your hero..llam..it was kind of embarrassing..
and then 1 of them asked what the show was about...and she regretted it about 1 hour later when your synopsis was finished..llam
