i was watching veggie tales with my brother today and one of the tomatoes wanted to "defy gravity" so of course i start singing "defying gravity"...like a good wicked fan would

Oh, you will all LOVE this.
I found a small bottle of green paint today in my basement while listening to an Idina interview, and insisted on taking off the paint label and either painting myself green with it, or just using the bottle as my "magical green elixer bottle". Well, I left it on my desk and when I got home, it was gone. My mom came in and took it, saying she "needed it to do her stencil". So I am in a bad mood, because I had my greenness/magical green elixer taken away. As she walked away, I said to myself, "Hmph. And I'M the wicked one."

shessh it seems like i have more wicked moments as the days go on... this ones kinda long cause its 2 things
Doug , my brother, today was the day he was planned to take his last 2 tests in order to become an "official private pilot"... and from the wind today we were really sure if he went flying for his check ride...
well he came home... and i talking about everything... and i cought him saying " and if im flying solo" and i cut in with ..at least your flying free... and he had this big grin on his face and said " yessss".. ( he knows that im obsessed with wicked.. hes always the one that comes in my room and tells me to turn the music down) i turned to him and said " do you know that you just quoted wicked and you didnt even see it yet"
he smiled and went heh...
2nd.. its more a WoOZ moment...but it reminded me of Wicked
was an simpsons episode on when we were eating dinner.. where theres a new girl at school thats better than lisa..and the thing with homer is the whole show hes trying to protect this sugar that he found...and he kept it in a pile in their backyard..
--> iwell t rains and all the sugar melts. and homers in the middle of the melting pile crying out going " im melting.. im melting.... what a world what a world"
and i start clapping and laughing..

Today, as a joke, I told my friend something that wasn't true and she was like, "No... you're lying!" and then I was like, "It's not lying... its looking at things another way!" As usual, she did not get the Wicked joke lol.

The Wicked moment of the day for me today is, two days later, still mourning the loss of my magical green elixer bottle, and although I've begged and pleaded with my mother, I am not getting it back. Yes, I am dwelling on this.
Otherwise, the Wicked moment of the day was packing, because I'm leaving for a weekend this coming weekend, and I felt like Galinda, because I wasn't sure what I would need, and I wanted to just bring all of it!

-my brother got his cap n gown yesterday ( our colors are green and gold and the guys wear the green).. and this morning my brother went to try it on... and i was in my room and i hear " your graduating from emerald city" and i just thought to myself,, " did my mom actually just say that" llam -was driving my mom to physical therapy... had my headphones on with wicked playing... and i was talking to her about next friday ( going to see the show with my whole family) and then while i waited for her in the GREEN wiating room i started reading the book - we went ot this party store.. and i was walking down the isle.. and they had the green and pink plates next to eachother... ( i soo wanna have a wicked party for my brithday llam) - tonight was out camerata party... and my chorus teacher.. who i love to go crazy over the show with.. cause she loves it too... well we did.. along with my friend sam ( who saw the show with me) and we played some of the songs on his piano  - oh and i was also wearing green capris with a pink tanktop!! wow what a wicked day llam |

today i went for my camp orientation and its a theater camp so alot of people love broadway shows [thats pretty obvious llam]...I saw a girl with a Wicked shirt walking past me and I like spazzed out to my dad..and hes like "Well I see who one of your friends is going to be." and then hes like "I think you should wear your Wicked shirt on the first day of camp..then you can see how many people tell you that they love Wicked. Then you will be able to choose your friends easily. The ones that comment on your shirt are added to the Courtney-friendlist. The ones that dont, you automatically ignore and scratch off." hah it was pretty funny i guess you had to be there though for it to be llam |

I was hanging out with one of my friends today, and I was sitting by my backpack. I have an L.L. Bean backpack, and you know how it has that little clip thing at the bottom so you can like, clip the backpack around your waist? Well, the clip thing is just like the thing on Idina's cape, and I got such a kick out of the clip at the Tony's, so I took the clip on my backpack, and repeatedly (until my friend hit me and told me to stop) clipped it shut as I would say, "Elphie, you're trembling." And then I would laugh and do it again.
It's fun. If you have an L.L. Bean backpack and you know what clip I'm talking about, try it sometime.

I'm doing an acting/directing/playwriting workshop thing and we had to do the game "Freeze Frame" and pretty much, all we had to do was go to center, do "Actor Neutral" and then go into a pose for a few seconds and then go back to "Actor Neutral" and then walk off. (It was just the beginning, it got more complex later) So anywho, we each got to do like, three poses and so I of course did Wicked-themed poses  . The first one I did was based on a picture of dancing thru life when Galinda's arms are up in the air and Elphie is watching (you know which one i'm talking about, right?) so I did that Galinda pose. And then I went on my knees and wiggled my fingers thru the air like when Galinda says "...personality dialysis". And then I did a Glinda-In-Her-Bubble-ish pose. It was fun and someone was like "Hey, that looks like Wicked" so then I had a good long convo about Wicked with them. Lol, it was fun! |

I was reading my book (A Monstrous Regiment of Women by Laurie R. King) and they kept using the word "Wicked," and I was thrilled, even though it was used in the sense of doing something really terrible. And then they used the word "hoi polloi" and I was like "yay!"

Today in the car, I was listening to Wicked and my mom thinks Popular is a really irritating song (which makes it so much fun to turn it up as loud as possible) and so i kept rewinding it to wearing Kristin goes "They were popular! Please!" over and over and over and over and over and over...you get the idea. She was ready to murder me. Lol.

so it seems like in my super boring summer health class i manage to quote wicked at least once a day. today, we were discussing drug use at parties.
my health teacher: "have any of you ever been to a party?"
me: "do funerals count?"
ahahah. of course no one got it, but i was so proud of myself i had to post it here.

today.. well actually yesterday...
i called up my friend who goes to another school and lives bout 20 minutes away.. and i never get to see her.. and i never really call her either.. newho.. call her.. and we start talking.. and she goes over to her piano while shes on the phone. . and starts playing defy gravity...aand shes playing and we both start singing over the phone... then i went over to my piano and started playing wizard and i....
so we were both at our pianos playing wicked songs and singing on the phone to eachother... was great

Today me, cait, and robin [from the board] saw Spiderman llam...and in 1 sentence, they said Wicked 3 times!! I like jumped out of my seat and made Cait spill all her skittles..and the lady in front of us told us to be quiet..it was really funny..
Also, did anyone realize Spiderman is like Elphie? In the newspapers they make him seem to be so bad and evil and hes really good just like Elphie! llam

My friend Sarah (aka Elphie) got back from a two week family vacation to Isreal and we got together at an outdoor mall thing and I ran up to her and was like "Oh Elphie, you're back!" and then we walked around and we went into like, this hip, retro home Pottery Barn gone chic store and they had these really cool brooms and she took one and started like, sitting on it like she was riding it and I was like "Is that all you did in Isreal? Ride around on that dirty old thing?" and then I started blowing bubbles that they had on the counter and she was like "Well, we can't all come and go by bubble" and then we started laughing and THEN the lady at the counter was like "Hey, are you two Wicked fans?" and we were like "Hell yeah!" except without the first word. But that's what we were thinking!
